I recently ordered from Pizza Twist in Sterling, VA, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they offer a full halal menu, which is hard to come by when it comes to pizza places.

Ordering was easy and straightforward. I called ahead, and the person taking my order was friendly, helpful, and patient with my questions about halal ingredients. They confirmed everything clearly, which I really appreciated.

I ordered the Butter Chicken Pizza and Garlic Parmesan Wings. When I arrived to pick up my food, everything was hot and ready right on time. The staff at the counter greeted me with a smile and double-checked my order before handing it over. For a takeout place, the customer service was top-notch—quick, polite, and professional.

The food was even better than expected. The Butter Chicken Pizza had that back-home flavor you don’t find often in pizza places, and the wings were juicy and well-seasoned. Everything tasted fresh and made with care.

What I loved most is how many food options they offer—Indian-style pizzas like Chicken Tikka and Paneer, wings, pasta, and even vegan and gluten-free items. It’s not just standard pizza—it’s something unique.

The prices are fair for the quality you get. Two people can easily eat well for under $30, which is great considering the variety and flavor.

TLDR: HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, POOR WEBSITE, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AND AWFUL PIZZA: AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

We tried their pizza for the first time tonight. For starters, the website was a mess trying to place the order, it kept dropping us out and we had to keep reloading it. It took 3 attempts to put the order in.

We ordered a deep dish garlic chicken pizza with no tomatoes, a traditional pepperoni pizza, and an order of cheese bread. The deep deep dish pizza arrived with tomatos all over it, and the dough under the toppings was raw. The pepperoni was cooked properly, but made with a white garlic sauce. Both of these were truly awful and disgusting. On the plus side, the cheese bread was very tasty.

I tried to call the store to complain and request a refund, but the guy who answered the phone said the manager had stepped out and was not available to help. He then asked me what was wrong and told me they would give us a free large pizza next time if we reminded them.

I will not be ordering from here again.
