Little Caesars Pizza — Restaurant in Virginia

So here we go again. I posted a review about a year ago under the name Kevin. I could not leave another review with that account, so here goes with this account. I always have anxiety when new management rolls into this place, and boy does it happen often. Why anxiety? Because there seems to be no general guidelines that get followed in regards to pricing. I have been visiting this place for many many many years, and always order the same pizza. Large pepperoni carryout for $5 + crazy sauce added. I order the pizza light on the sauce as well. Been ordering this way forever, and the price is always $7.xx out the door. Well, except for 1 year ago when they tried to charge me as a custom pizza order because of the light sauce, which made it way more expensive, which is funny becuase it actually saves them money by using less sauce, but wanting to charge me more for it. Well, today, it happened again. She tried to claim it was a new menu blah blah blah, but the pizza is still $5 and the crazy sauce is still the same price too. Nothing new there, except for this clueless person wanted to charge me for a custom pizza again. Nobody has for the hundreds of other ones I and friends have ordered that same exact way. So sad that this keeps popping up every blue moon. And then she wanted to get an attitude when I explained that I had been through this once before and a regional manager had to get involved. Now here we go again. AVOID this place...

I order at this location at least once a month because it’s the closest one to my house. I usually try to order online and pick it up just so I don’t have to interact with the employees. They are super rude. On this particular day, I didn’t order online. I waited for a about 5 mins at the counter before anybody came up to take my order. The only reason someone came up when they did was because the phone was ringing. The employee who answered the phone was just so rude to the customer on the phone, and just overall acted annoyed. This is usually how it is when I come in. It’s very unprofessional. When the employee took my order ( his name is on my receipt) he was just short and rude. I don’t know why he looked so annoyed...I knew exactly what I wanted and ordered it. He still looked annoyed, asked for a name and ripped the receipt out of the machine and handed it to me. The other customers in the lobby were just watching and shaking their heads. This employee is usually here when I come in. And he’s ALWAYS in a bad mood. It’s ridiculous. I have no complaints about the food. But customer service is lacking at...

I'm sure this wont change a thing, but I am highly disappointed with the manager at 12735 Jefferson Ave, Newport News, VA 23602. I have been buying the same exact pizza made the exact same way from many different staff members for ~2 years at the same exact price. It's the hot n ready pepperoni with light sauce and crazy crust. Always totals $7.36 I believe it is. The other day when I went in there, the manager decided that that price is no good anymore. I am assuming it is because he has to actually get off his butt to make a new pizza due to me wanting light sauce. He wanted to charge me $9.xx for the same exact pizza I have been buying for years @ $7.36. I even got all my co-workers buying the same pizza at, you guessed it, the same price I have been paying forever. What a joke. You have lost a valued loyal customer and many other people at my work that I have turned on to the crazy crust pizza as well. Very disappointing to say the least. Treating your customers like that, good luck...
