We decided to have some pizza on Halloween evening and found this place nearby for the first time. Online it clearly stated they closed at 10 PM, so we arrived at 8:45 PMāplenty of time, or so we thought.
There were two tables seated when we walked in. I even asked the waitress if we had enough time to sit down and eat, and she said, āOf course.ā She was pleasant at first and took our order.
Shortly after, my husbandās slices arrived. Then the waitress came back to say they didnāt have any veggie pizza, so I changed my order to a sub. A few minutes later, I learned they didnāt even have plain cheese pizza for my son, so we switched to pepperoni instead.
Once all the food finally came, we started eating ā only to be interrupted halfway through our meal by another waitress telling us they were closing immediately. She claimed it was āagainst the lawā to keep the UNDERAGE staff in the restaurant while customers were still inside and that we had to leave because they were closing at 9 PM for Halloween.
Had anyone told us this when we arrived, we would have gladly gone somewhere else. Instead, we were reassured that we had time to dine, only to be rushed out mid-bite. Being told to leave while chewing your food is unbelievably rude and completely unprofessional.
This experience ruined our evening and left a terrible impression. We just moved into the neighborhood and were hoping to find a new favorite spot ā unfortunately, this was our first and last visit. Terrible communication, poor service, and zero respect...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNope... what a nightmare. Not a single clean table although less than half the tables were taken. Kids literally running around the restaurant and then there was the wait for food. Salad and garlic knots (really too big for traditional knots) came before we could even sit, again due to no clean tables, and they just handed them to us while we stood there. Didnāt clear or clean the table, just handed my wife and daughter salad and knots, then turned and walked away. We just looked at each other. Iām not sure who is in charge. It seems like a bunch of high school kids are running the place with little to no supervision. After sitting for twenty minutes for New York style pizza that should take minutes to make we noticed pizzas coming out to people that were in line and hadnāt even been seated because there were no tables. At this point we asked for our pizzas to go, weād had enough... there were still kids just running around the place. We got home and tried the pizza, but it wasnāt good. My daughter took a couple bites and then opted for a bowl of cereal. We wonāt be back. Had the pizza been great we would at order pizza to go but it just wasnāt. The service and horrible dining environment alone would keep us away. I give this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWas in the area and really wanted parmesan grinder. I've driven by this place numerous times and thought I would go in and give it a try. First I was very surprised at the size of the place, from the outside it looks like it's just a tiny little joint but it's actually pretty large inside and they have a number of draft Taps on the walls as well. It looks like it's similar to other tap houses I've seen where you can buy by the ounce. They have a number of pizzas on this play where you can pick and get a slice I looked over the menu made my order at the counter with a young lady who is very pleasant and I ended up getting a Parmesan sausage "hero" as they called it, extra toasted. Didn't take very long for the order to be made. They did a great job extra toast in that, for some reason why the places can't get that right but they did. The sausage was pretty tasty and had a little bit of a kick to it maybe a spicy Italian sausage a little bit of tomato sauce with some good mozzarella cheese melted on the top. Overall it was pretty good. I would definitely come back and try some of their other items it seems like it's a good mom-and-pop type...
