There were two menus available. There was no indication of which menu was the one to use. When we went to order, we ordered our food and then the cashier ask a random question about what country do we want to visit instead of just saying my name when my order is ready? I felt like this was unnecessary and I just wanted them to just take my name down to give me my food. What end up happening was the cashier forgot that she was supposed to give us drink cups so we had to ask again for drink cups again. When we got our food the food was very mid. First of all, the biscuits were dry with no flavor. We ordered the chicken tenders. The breading was too crispy. Had too much seasoning and was too thick. We had to take the bread off the chicken to eat it because the the bread was overpowering the flavor of the chicken. Also the maple syrup covered chips was too messy and not great, who wants to eat sticky chips? We also ordered biscuits and gravy and the gravy was sooooo thick and also not very tasty. I ordered the firebird sandwich. It was an mix of bad things put together. The buffalo sauce, with American kraft cheese, lettuce tomato, and the badly breaded chicken was not a great combination. Finally, we didn't really care for how we had to bus our own tables for our food, and if you are going to have to bust your own tables, it should be a little easier than having to ring out each individual plate that you have it caused a line at the trash can. Overall, this place is very mediocre for the price that you pay for it. There are plenty other places that serve breakfast that are better. The last thing I'll say is how they present their food is a little messy. I wish they would put things on the side. I wish they wouldn't just drizzle everything in maple syrup. We will not be going back to this place. It's just not that good...
Read moreYikes! What a train wreck. Placed my order through the Maple Street app. Ordered a bacon and egg biscuit, side of smashbrowns and an iced cinnamon biscuit. Wait time would be 21 minutes, pickup time of 10:31. Small group of people waiting when I arrived at 10:25, a little early for my order. 10:31 came and went, after seeing a few other waiting patrons ask where their order was, I figured I'd be next to ask. While still waiting, I saw two other orders go out incorrect and the customers have to repeat their beverage order and wait for them to be made, one offered to forgo the beverage to not have to wait longer, but was told to just wait another moment. 10:36 my order was finally ready, not the worst wait time, but 30 minutes from the time of placing to pickup is getting there. I always check my orders and glad I did, no side of smashbrowns! When I told an employee, there was little communication and just a grabbing of my bag to verify and telling another employee to drop 2 smashbrowns. Let's wait some more I guess. Another wrong order or two later, at 10:45 I finally got my smashbrowns with my now 9 minutes colder other items. It wasn't really busy in there but it was apparent there was not great communication between the staff and who was supposed to prioritize what jobs. Food was okay. Biscuit was kind of dry even though they placed my fresh smashbrowns directly on top of the biscuit so it could soak up all the grease. The smashbrowns are just jewish latkes, what a mediocre blast into my past. The cinnamon biscuit was downing in a pool of icing, which did slightly help the dry cinnamon flavored biscuit.
I tried the location in Midlothian about a year ago and wasn't impressed then, this sealed the deal. Spend your...
Read moreThis place has been the talk of the town since before the construction even finished! Maple Street is a welcomed addition to the Chesterfield breakfast scene. The interior isn’t super spacious, but it’ll be possible to find a seat quicker once the crowd dies down in a month.
You order from the counter on the side, then get a table number and they bring your food out to you. There’s no line after the breakfast rush ends at 11.
The employees are very kind and helpful. Everyone is working, happy to answer questions, and efficient.
We did the biscuit and fried chicken maple sandwich, the cheese grits, fried green tomatoes, and the asiago bacon chicken and waffles.
Everything was great! The chicken was juicy and crispy. You can tell they make it here. The fried green tomatoes were thick and came out hot. Served with a side of buttermilk ranch. The biscuits are very flakey. The grits aren’t your traditional type of grits. Super creamy, not very grainy. They are still good - but not the traditional grainy grits (if that makes sense lol).
Something I love is that they have a coffee station where you can choose from four different types of unique roasts. The Maple Tap was very good, and I think you can buy your own grounds from them too. They also have a fountain drink machine, iced coffee, and sweet and unsweet tea.
It is a little pricey compared to the other breakfast spots around here, but the flavor is there.
They also have outdoor seating.
There are also...
