McDonald's — Restaurant in Virginia

As we walked in, no one was at the register, which isn't a big deal. We waited for several minutes as employees walked past twice and did not acknowledge us. My fiancé is battling cancer and wanted McDonald's, so that's what we were determined to get. We were forced to order at the self order screen. We took a number and tried to find a clean table to eat at. Most of the tables were dirty. The table we sat at had been wiped with a greasy cloth (or that's what it looked like anyway, see pictures attached.) As with most fast food places, lots of beeps and alarms kept going off, which is understandable, but still seemed to be happening much more often than normal. Our food wasn't terrible, but wasn't that good. The nuggets my fiancé ordered looked old and weren't as good as what we have had in the past. I ordered a Big Mac meal. My burger and fries were good. I walked back up to ask for a refill of Coke. The employee asked what I was drinking, I told her "Coke" and waited. She got another drink for me and sat it on the counter. I told her "thank you" to which she ignored me, turned her back to me and walked away. At that point, I just walked back to my table and left. If you like McDonald's and want good customer service, don't go here. If you want a clean dine in area, don't go here. If you are looking for something at the drive through, hopefully this establishment treats drive thru customers better than the dine in customers. Personally, I will not...

Tonight I got a $5 bag since I knew it’d be easy for them bc I’m timed for my lunches at work. The big male with long hair (don’t know his name) in the window tonight was rude bc I miscounted my money to pay and I’ve had a long day so I told him sorry and he ignored my apology and looked like he wanted to be anywhere but there. My fries were COLD to the point I didn’t bother to eat them. They forgot my sauce which I’m not too mad about compared to my ice cold fries. Nuggets were tough so I know they’ve been sitting just like the fries. So 2/3 hot food items was cold and sitting too long. There were cars in front of me so I assume they got cold fries and tough nuggets too. I tried calling the store 5 times!!! And it was giving a busy signal. They probably left it off the hook to avoid calls bc I gave each call a few mins in between in case the managers were actually working with a customer. I’m seriously doubting it though. I only wanted to get some fresh fries but they won’t answer so I’m writing this review. Answer your phones and the employees need to nicer to...

My main complaint is ALWAYS ALWAYS check your food before you leave here!!! The store won’t let people post pictures of the food anymore they get so many negative pics. So I’m guess I’ll rant instead……..They get mad if you hold up the drive through line checking the food, but every time I don’t, they do something crazy like forgetting the biscuit in a biscuit and gravy! This morning my toddler wanted a bacon egg and cheese. Couldn’t understand why she didn’t like it. The put the wrong egg. Don’t get me wrong I used to work in fast food. I just don’t get how you put the wrong egg on a biscuit. If it’s a special order you’re supposed to mark it! The staff is nice enough but they updated the the stores looks but didn’t give anyone better training or hire more people to help clean or double check orders when busy. Looks nice on the outside but it’s about more than that and McDonald’s doesn’t understand looks can’t compare too...
