McDonald's — Restaurant in Virginia

Went here on 09/01/2022, they only had the drive thru opened. Arrived off the highway from NC at 8:22PM did a mobile order to make it easier on the cashiers at 8:32PM didn’t leave the line until 9:54PM. There were only 6 cars ahead of us total - this includes those already at the window. As many people left the line due to the wait. About 25 minutes in I was also going to leave the line but couldn’t because they completed my order out as I picked up. By the time I made it to the window it was 52 minutes. I observed 5 employees total all of which were not doing their jobs and didn’t care to either They were eating food in the dine in area walking around like it was a hangout spot rather than someone’s business they are hired to work for. After waiting an additional 10 minutes at the window they came in from the dinning area, and said laughing “oh my gosh their is a car here” like the whole building isn’t surrounded by cars waiting for food and their order to be taken. After going off about waiting so long they had the audacity to question me about being behind other cars cause they thought I came through because THEY completed the order out as picked up. THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING THEY JUST DONT CARE. Do NOT come to this location if it’s not in the morning. If I was the owner of this business I would be seriously concerned about the amount of business I lost due to this crew that worked this night as so many cars left. And I know I WILL NEVER stop here again. I’ve seen McDonald’s ran better than this with 2 people.

You know Mcdonald's is suppose to stand for something. I remember the days when you could trust that you were getting your meal and it was not only going to be good but it is going to be correct. No not only do you get a bunch of mess in your bag but when its suppose to be something that helps you start your day you get to work and sit down and NOTHING is like it is suppose to be.

Not only do they not care but the value and the customer no longer exist. We are just someone that helps you get a paycheck. Who cares if we get our meal correct, Who cares if we say anything to you, Who cares if we ever see you again, Who cares if I ever say hello to you. All you are is someone who will give us your money we give you food and I do not care if it is ever correct I'm not the one that is going to eat it so what does it matter to me.

You know what, I am going to do my best to make sure that you will never get another dime of my families money ever again. Your managers do not care, your employees do not care so why give my hard earned money to someone who does not care about me as a customer. It is hard to say never again but I will tell you this. I walked into another restaurant that is in this town and after the bad service and dirty dishes that I received and the waiter not caring about the service that he provided and the management not caring what was being put on the table it was 7 years before I stepped foot back in that place and that was only because I was not the one that requested to go there I was only a passenger. I stopped by around 12:15 am to get a bite to eat since they are open 24 hrs. They run 2 lanes to take orders and there's about 3 cars In each lane, so I'm waiting and waiting and 2 cars in each lane finally move forward. I sit there for at least 20 min while the car in my lane and the other lane just sit there I guess waiting to order. Finally the car in front moves out of the lane as does the other car in the other lane. So I pull up wait about 1 min and ask if anyone is there. Nobody answers. So I honk the horn stilll no answer. So I pull around and see 2 cars sitting in front of the drive up windows with the employees just hanging out of them apparently talking to their friends in the cars. So I decide to call the store and ask what the holdup was. The ignorant girl that answered the phone must have thought she was at home with a hello. I ask that I've been sitting in the drive thru for 25 min and why nobody answered or acknowledged me waiting in line. Her response is we are closed until 1. Now I would understand if the light was off or drive thru sign light was off but it was all open for business. Why not put a sign up on the drive thru that they were closed I think they were too busy just hanging out and talking to their freinds than waiting on customers.
