Maggie’s Four Mile Fork — Restaurant in Virginia

I really wanted to like this place, but the turkey sub I got barely had any turkey on it. Ive had tons of turkey subs in my life and this might be one of the worst ones. Look at my photo for proof. The sandwich was almost all lettuce and bread. I also asked for extra mayo and there was barely any mayo on the sandwich. Also theres a 3% fee for using credit card. Its hard to support local restaurants when the prices keep going up and the portions keep getting smaller. I’ll stick to jersey mikes instead….

REVISED REVIEW: The owner is absolutely delusional. Their first response was super rude so they deleted it, and now 8 months later they responded again lmao. They cant accept the fact that they made a bad sandwich. They think I work for jersey mike and im trying to sabotage local sandwich shops? What a joke haha get...

My husband and I have always loved the Maggie’s location downtown, but decided to order take-out from the Courthouse location for lunch today. We didn’t notice until we got home and opened our sandwiches that one of our sandwiches was literally just two pieces of bread, a very thin layer of mozzarella and one tomato with some balsamic. We ordered the #15 as a panini which is also supposed to include the fixings (lettuce, tomato, onion). We did not receive that and actually thought we were given the wrong order. Won’t be going back to this location… Based on the other reviews, this seems to be a common theme...

Visited 12/14/24 It would have been 5 but I had to give it four stars. Everything was excellent! The customer service, meatball sub, the homemade ginger ale, root beer and cream soda. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. The only issue is the cup of ginger ale cost about the same price as the bottle drinks. Bottle drinks are $4 and cups are $3. I'm still trying to figure out how my total was $14.42. I think they might have raised the price but never changed it on the menu. Other than that. I would definitely...
