I am beyond disgusted with Panera’s customer service. Today, while home sick with COVID, I placed a delivery order because I couldn’t go anywhere and desperately wanted chicken noodle soup — the one thing that usually helps me when I’m sick. Instead of my order, a completely different bag with someone else’s name showed up. Mistakes happen, sure. But what happened next is unacceptable.
When I contacted Panera, their “solution” was either a credit to my Panera account (which forces me to spend more money with them after they already messed up) or wait 30 DAYS for a refund. Excuse me? Thirty days for money I paid for food I never even received? That’s absolutely ridiculous. This isn’t just poor service, it’s exploitative.
Panera, you’re seriously telling a sick customer, who ordered because they had no other option, that their only choices are to be trapped into ordering from you again or sit around for a month waiting for their money back? This is the opposite of customer care. If anything, you’ve made an already miserable situation worse.
I will not be ordering from Panera again and I’ll make sure everyone I know is aware of how shamefully you treat your customers when you screw up. Fix your policies, because this is an...
Read moreListen, I get these are difficult times, but do better. I ordered 6 bagels for curbside pickup and when I got home the 2 blueberry were missing. I called the store, and it didn't even ring. Why do you have an option to call a manager if the phone is gonna be disconnected????????? This made me have to drive back to the store, go inside which I DID NOT want to do since there are people without masks, and when I went to the cashier, I could see him in the back on his phone! I stood there for 2 minutes saying loudly hello! sir! hello! and I got even more upset so I went to the ladies at the expo section and just asked if they could get me 2 blueberry bagels that I was missing and they just said to go talk to the cashier. I went back and now he had a line, thus I had to wait EVEN LONGER. When he finally helped me he was very nice and polite and got me the bagels plus a pastry which I appreciate and I understand it wasn't his fault. Truly just a waste of time so if you get a togo order make sure to check your bag since you apparently can't trust them to give you your full order! Set me back in my day since I only had 30 minutes for a quick lunch. I will not be back to this location because it truly...
Read moreI have been coming to this location for years and never had a problem and enjoyed my experience but my last visit was...disappointing. I've ordered the Ham and Swiss several times in the past because of food allergies and it was always delicious but this last time when I received my food it had onions and tomatoes on the sandwich, two things I happen to be allergic to so when I took it up to ask about ordering another sandwich a lady who must have been a manager of some kind seemed a little short tempered with my request stating I should've told them in the first place. Again, I have ordered this same sandwich in the past where the only thing on the sandwich was the ham and the swiss. So they bring out the second sandwich and this one has a lot of lettuce on it and barely any ham. I send it back just wanting a plain sandwich and I finally get it back with the manager saying to order clearly next time...I was going to be willing to return in the future, emphasizing my order no problem but now I wont be returning. Its disappointing to me that a place I used to love going to breakfast and lunch for on occasion is now a place I...
