TO THE OWNER; PLEASE READ: I have lived in Vienna for 30 years. I have ordered from this location intermittently. However, after constant mistakes this location makes, I have made a habit to avoid THE "Tyco Road Papa John's". At times, the toppings are completely wrong. Other times it's a missing pizza when I arrive with the excuse: "a delivery driver took it by mistake". The pathetic thing is, I hear them whispering about not making the pizza prior to blaming it on a driver. Each time "the driver" excuse is given has been when I attempted to order in advance...even tho I've tried advance order thinking this could possibly help this location get the order right.
Tonight was the last straw. I ordered from this location purely because my child had a dance recital at a spot on Tyco Road and he wanted pizza as a treat following the performance. I figured over a year after the last mistake, it couldn't once again be horrendous; how wrong I was. The people running the shift at 5 this evening were THE WORST I have run into yet; not only at this location, but at any pizza spot I have been to. The women running the counter had long, filthy blue nails that appeared to be covered in flour. However, she was on her phone in the corner when I walked in so I'm assuming (and desperately hoping) she wasn't cooking pizza in those nails...but that begs the question of the white powder on her long, abhorrent nails.
Intially she did not see my order on the shelf. After "whispers" with the other man working there, I heard it said that the pizza I ordered over 2 hours in advance, was never made - they really stink at being sneaky.
BUT, Instead of being honest, I was told my order was 7 min out. I asked if the pizzas were in the oven, to which she replied "No, the delivery driver took it". My instant thought was "Not possible for two pizzas to be cooked in 7 minutes unless they are disgustingly undercooked OR I'm being lied to and it's gonna be a 20 min wait".
I told her "No thank you, refund please".
At no point in the process was there an apology. There was no acceptance of wrong doing on their part; nothing to make me feel even a bit like they understood their mistake. In fact, they seemed dumbfounded by the situation. This furthers my issue on whatever the white powder could be on the female, and the blood red eyes on the male making the pizzas. This location should be shut down. I'm on the verge of contacting the Better Business Bureau, something I've never even considered in the past. But there is a consistent pattern of wrong doing at this location. And the fact that these two people running the joint not only did not apologize for THEIR mistake, but acted like I was wrong for asking to cancel my order...it shows the EXTREMELY LOW CLASS, PROBLEMATIC caliber of people that this location is continuing to hire. I cannot fathom how this business is still open. No matter how convenient this location is at any of my events, I WILL NEVER consider them again after tonight. Thank goodness MOD and other pizza spots are more convenient, I would rather pay a few more bucks than ever support the people working at the Tyco road Papa John's again. They shouldn't have a job period with their attitudes and inadequacies. FOR ANYONE WANTING PIZZA: Wal Mart is across the street; you'll have better luck there and it's cheaper. OR you can find Dominos, MOD, another Papa John's, and SEVERAL others in Vienna. If you would prefer to avoid several mistakes accompanied with poor attitude among staff, go anywhere else.
TIP FOR THE OWNER: Ask the Lawyer's Road location, OR the Dominoes on 123 for the people they don't hire. I order pizza for my kiddos regularly and go to them for consistency and quality. I avoid your location due to years of issues, which is sad. I really believed tonight would be different after a very significant break. As I'm writing this, I recognize the next step is to contact the Papa John's corporation and let them know about the way this one location is really tarnishing the name.
Good luck...
Read moreCalled three times and each time they Took long to take the order. 1st time I figure I can place the order online since it seems they were having issues with their system because the guys took forever to take the order of the 1st pizza. The guy I spoke to is Zak and he could not care that we were trying to order some food. He was not looking help and while any problem on his end which can’t be seen by the public could be frustrating, it is not the fault of the customer. Now as you may this was not a 1 call review because I ended calling 3 times. Last call was after I was not able to complete my order online and Zak said I was not the only on that said that. I ask Zak if I could get the online special price since I was not able to complete my online order and he said very rudely and unprofessional that no, that I needed to order online and I told him that o would love to order online but I was not able to. Still he insisted on pushing his solution.i love Papa John’s and I am leaving this review to 1 either fix their system or retrain their personnel. With 90 stores under that same owner you guys are doing well but this wheel over here is squeaking and needs...
Read moreEvery low google review is for a reason. Looking over domino branches generally in google, you would find an average rate of 3 star. Frankly speaking that is really poor, the rates normally reflect the service and quality.
Our experience: it takes around 3 minutes to our place, they charged 3 dollars for delivery which is really a joke, we are more than happy to tip the drivers. The pizza came after more than one hour and considering the distance and how hot pizza got here, we can clearly see the delay was caused because of the kitchen.
Hope you can receive these feedback and try to improve service quality. These reviews would result in losing customers. Happy customers are less likely to...
