If your favorite Chinese food dish is Sweet & Sour Chicken then perhaps you will enjoy this place. Also, the Hershey's ice cream is all you can eat if you get the buffet. Those are the only two perks this place has going for it, otherwise the non-dessert Chinese food is pretty bad. As an unbiased opinion of someone who a) did not grow up in Draft and b) has eaten a lot of Asian/Chinese food in my time in many different locations, I feel like the food needs a whole lot of work and a two star rating is legitimate for this place. We got take out a few months ago from here and I did not like what I got at all and wanted to try the buffet to see if it was just the one dish's preparation. Everything on the buffet was low quality. The Tso tasted too much like bbq chicken, the lo mein looked and tasted like spaghetti noodles w/ MSG sprinkled on it, the Chicken Broccoli/Triple Delight had too much of a bold pepper taste (as did every other dish which used this sauce's recipe, including the Hunan Chicken I got for take out a few months ago), the Egg rolls were not crunchy and the cabbage was soggy, even the soups were low quality. Everything had a burnt flavor to it but it seemed like it was the spices used. And the meat, AKA, "chicken", "pork", and "beef" all had a unfamiliar taste to them.
Honestly, I can't give this place one star because it is in Stuarts Draft and it is Chinese. And, it is not the worst Chinese I have ever had either. The food, however, is not very good. I'm not giving this place a bad review to put them out of business or to promote the other place in town- I am glad they are here. They just have a long way to go quality wise until I will be dining here again. I may check them out every other year just to see if anything changes. If so, i'll change my review. In the meantime, if you want decent Chinese food, Charlottesville is right up the road (Waynesboro has a long way to go too...) or go to Target/Wal-Mart and get some frozen...
Read moreBEWARE BEWARE BEWARE READ REVIEWS BEFORE YOU GO HERE THE WORST EVER. CAN'T STRESS IT ENOUGH I drive a semi and I eat out alot. Shows on window lunch till 2:30. My husband and I go in about 1pm hardly any food on the buffet. Bunch of clean empty trays waiting for food to be put in. You have to pre pay cost over $25 for both of us. Asked for wonton for the soup. He brings out 2. Only 2 wonton. Are we suppose to share it. Asked for more of the tiny noodles and she tells me no more food. Not putting any more out. There wasn't hardly anything out already. We were out the door by 1:30pm. Still hungry and out over $25. Will never eat there again. I didn't leave a tip. You have to earn that and she definitely didn't earn one. BEWARE of this place. Not friendly, very rude and very stingy with there food. But they do love to take your money. They make sure they get that first then if you aren't happy with it you can leave but they still have your money FOOL ME ONCE SHAME ON YOU........

Read moreI walked in on a Wednesday around 5pm and ordered take out for four people. It was ready in about 10 minutes! So fast. Food was good. We all enjoyed it. Friendly service from the owner, too. I'm glad this restaurant is still here and that it survived the hard times of the last year and half that has been so hard for many restaurants. They still offer dine-in, but the buffet was closed. I would recommend this to anyone looking for good classic Chinese...
