I reviewed on Yelp and now here that is how bad my experience was. I started using this location again because I happened to stop in and meet the owner who was really nice and friendly. Sad to say her manager has ruined this location for me forever. I will not be back. Today I order curb said on the App. I ordered a beach club no bacon and a detox island green. When I picked up my ordered I was multitasking so I didn’t check the bag until I got home. Once home I realized they gave me bacon no Parmesan so I checked my order on the app again (it was still up from me clicking “I’m here”) and sure enough it said not bacon. Called back to rectify and was immediately met with an combative manger who insisted o made the mistake after me telling her I checked the app before I called. She reluctantly agreed to remake the salad if I brought it back so I did and instead of returning the salad and remaking like she promised she proceeded to yell and say I was wrong and I made the mistake. Asking me how I ordered and printing out a receipt that said no Parmesan. I said that’s fine I don’t care what that receipt says I know what I ordered. Moreover what different does it make now. Why are we still arguing if you agreed to remake the salad. I unfortunately not super familiar with the app so I couldn’t figure out (nor did I have the time) how to pull up precious orders. I repeated I told you checked the app before I even called to make sure it wasn’t my error but she accusing me of making the mistake. They remade the salad and while I waited I overhear her still talking to the workers about me and that I made the mistake and they didn’t make a mistake. It was weird egregious unprofessional and down right rude. I’ve never encounter a manager in a customer facing role that was so unwilling to even be pleasant and attempt to deescalate. Needless to say when I got home and fidgeted around with the app o saw all my previous orders and low and behold proof that I in fact ordered no bacon. Read moreI came here on a Friday and I simply ordered a smoothie. I had to wait THIRTY minutes to just get a smoothie and I saw the employees were ignoring a lot of the customers that had questions about their order. Many other customers were waiting about the same time and about three or four customers canceled their order after waiting about twenty or thirty minutes because the staff took way too long to make the food. They even got a few of the orders wrong, so I don’t recommend coming here. Some days there are good employees and they give you your smoothie within less than ten minutes. The manager should not be hiring a bunch of teenagers because they were completely clueless and messed up all the orders. If this tropical smoothie is your nearest location, then maybe try coming here early in the morning where there’s actual adults that know what their doing. Read moreThis was my first time visiting this location. I was a little apprehensive as some other locations of Tropical Smoothie Cafe were less than stellar and very disappointing. NOT THIS ONE!!! The customer service was exceptional, the food superb, the place was clean as well as the bathroom. I was very impressed with Ashlyn who took our order. She was super friendly. She especially demonstrated her excellent customer service skills with the gentleman that was serviced after me. He asked tons of questions. She was patient and very knowledgeable about the food items and smoothies. I will definitely be back, again and again. I am Vegan, so it was nice to have the plant based protein option for my wrap.
