Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Virginia

During my recent visits to this location, I’ve encountered consistent issues with the food quality and portion sizes. My initial order—a three-piece chicken dinner—consisted of unusually small pieces of chicken that were overcooked. After voicing my concerns, I was offered a replacement order, which I appreciated. However, when I returned months later to give the restaurant another chance, I once again experienced subpar quality. While the chicken was cooked properly this time, the portions were still abnormally small, and the ghost pepper wings that I ordered had an overly excessive amount of batter that concealed the minimal amount of meat on the wings. Having visited many Popeye’s restaurants in various locations, I know that this is not the standard of quality that Popeye’s is known for. I find it disappointing that my local branch consistently falls short of expectations. I believe the root of the issue may lie in the management and ownership of this location, as the staff seems to operate under the assumption that these practices...

Just dealt with the RUDEST worker I have ever encountered!!! I called Popeyes because I placed an order on DoorDash and wanted to see if I could change my order from one leg and a thigh to just two legs instead because my 13 year old does not like any other kind. Well, usually they say sure it’s no issue. Tonight apparently they were out of legs which whatever, so I asked if I could atleast see if my 13 year old would like to exchange it out for tenders instead. Well, the woman interrupted me before I could even finish talking and I was as nice as I could be to her and just interrupts me to say “no bye” and then hangs up on me!!! Like are u KIDDING ME? So I tried to call back multiple times and now conveniently she won’t answer the phone. If you are that miserable of a human being and hate ur job that much, either find a new one or check ur attitude with how u treat paying customers! I will never order from this...

At 2:15 PM We ordered a chicken sandwich with mayo and extra pickles plus 12 wings w/ sauce, a coke and a cup of water. The sauce on the wings was excessive and leaked out of the box into the plastic bag and onto the sandwich bag and dripped in the car. But the worst part was the food. The chicken sandwich was the worst I have ever had. The meat was not hot, juicy or by any means freshly cooked. It was dry and curled up on the ends. The amount of extra pickles on this sandwich made me think the employees had fun trying to see just how many pickles they could put on one sandwich. There was a handful of pickles on the bottom bun and another handful on top of the dried up Chicken. The whole thing was hideous. The wings had been refried and were greasy and dry. The sauce was nothing to brag about, not sure what made it special. Guess we got the lunch leftovers for the price of fresh. ...
