I’ve eaten here 3 times. The very last was Friday, February 14. I took my two granddaughters there for dinner. There was plenty of parking, no line and a number of tables available. Unusual for most restaurants on Valentine’s Day. We ordered two kids meals and I ordered Chicken Parmigiana. It’s important to note that I specifically ordered Chicken not Eggplant Parmigiana. I had ordered eggplant on my second visit and it was inedible so I would never have ordered it again. We waited 30 minutes, then 45. 3 tables had come in, been served and left and we were still waiting for our food. One party stopped by as they were leaving and complimented me on how well-behaved my granddaughters were, particularly since we had waited so long. During this time, I observed two tables speaking to their server about issues with their food. After an hour (and I know it was an hour because I had taken a photo of the girls and sent to my son, so it was time-stamped) we FINALLY got our food. And my order was wrong. I was given eggplant NOT chicken. I requested to go boxes because we were leaving. I stated I couldn’t imagine being charged for their food after having waited over an hour and receiving an incorrect order. The manager did remove the eggplant but was extraordinarily rude, accusing me of “yelling “ at her (an overstatement at best, I had my grandchildren with me) with no apology whatsoever and told me “I should have made a reservation.” Foolish considering all their empty tables. I did state I would NEVER eat there again and was looking forward to reviewing them online. At that point, the manager actually started yelling at me, a grandmother with two hungry little girls in tow. I’ve never experienced a worst dining experience than this. Their food is, at best, mediocre, and their customer service non-existent. I wish I could give them 4...

For Winchester’s finest fare from the Old Country, you can’t go wrong with a meal served by Signora Tina at Donato’s. 🇮🇹
New Year’s Weekend 2022-23 Ciao, fratelli, com’estai! 💛 Tonight was seafood appetizers — bacon wrapped scallops & oysters “Rockefeller”. Great vibe running through the “cucina” out to the “tavolo do pranzo”. 🤠

Gotta luv it! The pizza 🍕 is crisp from edge to a soft center, evenly baked, not at all oily or over seasoned. The sauce well made with zero of the usual acidity found in most tomato sauces, a proof of genuine authenticity. The spinach we requested as topping was fresh and thoroughly distributed, not skimpy or wilted, which is absolute testimony to the quality of this kitchen.
Bread sticks & salad with delish house dressing to start were divine, however unnecessary, as the main course was filling enough.
Mussels aioli with angel hair pasta — special!… Just as my wife remembers from our long visit to Rome while living in Paris our first year of marriage 2000-2001. The cannoli is a definite treat to finish with! 🌟
Coming from inside the DC Beltway to Donato’s is a bit of a stretch. Yet per chance should we pass this way again, to watch Muay Thai locally? For sure a stop here again will be a must!

Read moreWe LOOOOVE Touch Of Italy! No other italian places we have been to would ever come close to quality, portions or pricing. We will NEVER go elsewhere as long as Donatos is around! Bellissimo all around! The quality is phenomenal! My boyfriend is very picky on his A La Vodka sauce and I am the same with my alfredo. They make their sauces with the perfect flavor/texture with portions guaranteed to make sure you won't leave hungry. Their variety is great with so many options that truly matches their motto "Only for you!". I recommend the cheesy breadsticks for an appetizer, they load it with their FRESH cheese and again, they give you enough to make that a meal itself! The tiramisu is my favorite desert, so mouthwatering! Only negative thing was twice now out of the 3 times there, they gave him the wrong dish but they quickly fixed it both times and got him the right dish within minutes and was very apologetic. We are dedicated customers now and will drive the 30-40 minutes to eat there any chance we feel like...
