The pulled pork is excellent here and the sides are just as good. The macaroni and cheese is smooth and creamy, the corn pudding is savory with just the right amount of sweetness from the corn to complement it. The greens are also pretty special. Sometimes my wife sends me to Q barbeque just to get them (like tonight). I had an excellent experience at Q Barbecue this evening. I was pleasantly greeted mere moments after I entered the restaurant, and I felt welcome. This not only demonstrated good training, but more importantly, a genuine positive attitude from the staff. Everything appeared to be very clean and organized from what I could see. I have been to other restaurants at dinner time and received the impression that I was an inconvenience for coming in. I definitely did not have that here this evening. My order was taken promptly when I was ready to give it and packaged to take home with the same efficiency. Looking forward to my next visit in the future.

I used to visit this restaurant almost weekly, but I found a new favorite over time. On May 14, 2025, around 3 PM, I placed a takeout order and revisited an old favorite. I went with my usual: a half-slab of ribs, greens, baked beans, and a large chili. The ribs were outstanding—tender, flavorful, and infused with that signature smoky taste I’ve always loved. Unfortunately, the chili was a letdown. It was so watered down that I tossed the $8 large chili. This chili is typically thick, hearty, packed with brisket, and has a nice kick. This time, it was thin, runny, and lacked the bold flavor I expected. I was disappointed, especially since the chili is usually a highlight of the meal and ties the whole BBQ experience together. I am a bit surprised, as this was mostly an uneventful visit. v/r, Dr. Ken King

This was a place that a co-worker and I found being the area. We got in before it got busy, which it didn't little while later (between 1130-noon). There was so many good options that I went for a 2 Meat plate with 2 sides. I got brisket, burnt ends with baked beans & slaw. It was at the table really quick. There are 4 choices of sauces on the table. I went with the original sauce. The brisket was fork tender, not even an exaggeration. It was moist with a great smoky flavor. The burnt ends were tender and with a great smoky taste as well. The baked beans have a a sweet smoky flavor. I could've eaten 2 more orders. The slaw is a good Southern slaw too. The corn muffin was warm and delicious. I will be back in the area in a few weeks, you will find me here when I'm back.

$100+i spent and probably some of the worst customer service and food. It's really hard to screw up a BBQ spot. But Q's pulled it off. Ordered wings, two orders of fries, hush puppies, ribs, pulled chicken, brisket, pulled pork, collard green, two. Mac N cheese and two hot dogs.

Dunno how you dry out cheese and chilli on a hot dog but you done it.

Brisket was dry as chalk and crumbly.

Mac N cheese was worse that Kraft.

Plain dog and wings pretty good.

Fries mediocre. Pretty sure they're the Idaho frozen bag from Walmart and food lion

Collard greens mediocre

Pulled chicken wasn't pulled. It was cut up. And dry

Then the kiddo wanted key lime pie. So I went to register and got 1x key lime pie, 1x banana pudding, 1x chocolate pie. I told the cashier that half the food was pretty bad. No reaction. Not even an "oh I'm sorry to hear that". No emotion at all. So ok, whatever... Dessert should be impossible to miss on

Chocolate pie was pretty good

Key lime pie was pretty darn good

Banana pudding was dry and unmixed. Like cake batter when you have dry mix not blended all the way.

Took two bites and couldn't do it. Spouse couldn't do it either. So I went back to the register. Told them the banana pudding was pretty bad. I'd like to swap out for the chocolate pie. She RANG ME UP. Don't get it twisted. I am happy to pay for food. But gosh dang if I wasn't slightly offended after being $100+ deep in food if I said my dessert was off and I could be made whole for a $1.50 slice of pie.

Q's. You really missed the mark on this one bad. (the couple in the booth behind us also were complaining but idk about what specifically).

Hope yall tighten up cuz Mission BBQ has NEVER MISSED and they're cheaper than you. I'll be continuing my patronage...

I've always liked Q but never been to this location. Funny story is we had decided on Pho for dinner however didn't want to be the people walking in at 8pm when they closed at 8: 30pm so I made a quick decision that we were having BBQ. That couldn't have been a better idea last night. Everything was absolutely fantastic and cooked to a "T". The sliced brisket was just falling apart with every bite and so incredibly juicy. Burnt ends were just spectacular and the pulled pork was heaven shredded up into a 1lb pile on my plate. For the sides we went with pineapple pudding, corn pudding and Mac n cheese. Thankfully there was this older couple sitting next to us because with each bite every side was slap your momma delicious. Unfortunately, neither the sides or the wonderful, but unfortunately placed, woman on this fateful night survived. The burger and fries our teenager who wanted to stay home got didn't last long and he was extremely satisfied. Funny story, for an hour I didn't hear one complaint about not being in front of a screen, on his phone or something else as he blissfully stuffed his face (no cap). When it was all said and done everyone was extremely happy and left wanting to come back so we finished the night off with key lime pie, banana pudding and a cookie to go. We hope to return soon and we're sorry Ms. Jackson whooooo, I am for real. Recommend stopping by and trying if you...

Been going here for as long as they open. We pulled over today to get food for the kids. Was planning to use cash but, lost it on our car floor. While pulling things out and searching who I assume was a manager in a red car pulled in front of us and asked us if we were planning on eating here. My husband said " Yes, sir." Me shaking me head. 'No' already annoyed by the question and ready to leave.

The employee followed up to tell us not to leave trash on the parking lot. What!? He pulled up front thw building and took another look at us. I got out and told him we were just looking for something in our car.

Sir! What made you truly believe we came there just to place trash on the ground and leave? We literally ate there multiple times this week and NEVER DID THAT! I personally ate there for years and never did that! Rude and uncalled for. And make it seem he instant believe we were dirty people. We left not even going inside. Sad, cause our toddlers love to eat here. Probably go to another location. And also, I swear he was still watching us from thw back door window to make sure we didn't leave anthing. Which we didnt.... Would they rather we did? So fustrated!

2 stars cause I DID love the food enough to continue business up till thus point. 1 star minus cause it is very pricey but, still pretty good. 2 stars minus cause of what took...
