Well let me tell you I went to the one on route one too and they were nasty there too and I only went because of my husband again and guess what I will never step foot in there again Oh and if you delete this review again I will just keep reposting under another account I go back over my reviews
Response to owner comment 02/16/2018 This was not an isolated incident. This has happened several times over with the same pregnant woman I just chose to ignore it previously. But, 01/27/2018 was the icing on the cake and again to see a similiar comment on here about the discrimination made me type my own experience. I will never go back to your resturaunt because I never want to deal with that level of disrespect again. I know you won't fire her, so I won't set myself up for the BS.

I frequent Rahama 2 to 3 times a week for my husband's food. I think the food is good and the service from the men who work there is excellent. But, on several occasions a pregnant woman working at the counter has ignored me. On Saturday 01/27/18 it was so blatantly disrespectful. I stood at the counter and another woman stood at the counter next to me and she completely ignores me and helps the other woman. But, this has happened several times over and I tried to ignore it because she is pregnant. I have seen her jump when africans come in there, she does not make them wait like she has done so to me several times. I also thought I was tripping until I read another review just like mine on here. IF YOU ARE NOT AFRICAN YOU ARE NOT WELCOMED TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT. The pregnant woman is also very unprofessional. She asked my husband in a previous encounter if I was his wife. What business is it of hers??? I have made it very clear to my husband that I will no longer get his food for him from Rahama. DISCRIMINATION IS UNACCEPTABLE. The owner should also check the cameras if they are working and see it for him or her self. This is very sad and I am very heart broken that someone could even act like that...

I think this uncivilized girl who’s been brought from a certain village in Ghana to work at the Woodbridge branch of Rahama needs to be talked to . What do I lose as a customer if I’m not allowed to eat or buy from Rahama? I was so mad when a friend told me, he was ordering food on phone with another friend and this uncouth girl thought it was me and started shouting and made all sort of derogatory remarks when my friend went in there to pick up his order.
I must make it clear here to that idiot of a girl that Rahama isn’t the only place they sell Ghanaian dishes. I can drive to anywhere to find Ghanaian meals even in Washington DC.
My review was based on my personal experience and that wasn’t the first time but the third time with same person and that pushed me to give a review. I have been buying from Rahama before she was brought from her village to work there. I never had any customer service issues with any one until she came there. She should be careful of her attitude towards customers since I’m not the only one complaining about her poor attitude to customers. Other people may not come here to share their experiences but they say it elsewhere to dent the image of the restaurant. If she wants a good review, then She must learn to exhibit good customer service attitudes other than her uncouth utterances and mannerisms towards customers. Here is USA and customer service is paramount to the success of a business so if the owners are so much interested in the success of their business, they must caution this girl else her attitude can drive most of their customers away.

i wanted to try a new african spot and the one i typically go to (LAPAZ IN MANASSAS highly recommend) was too far and dnt deliver where i am…so i chose this place
