The best Indian food around these parts. An absolute gem of deliciousness! The hot masala chai just needed a bigger cup! It was smooth, creamy and full masala bodied. ( Meditation in a cup). It came with a spoon ( lol) but needed nothing else! The crust on the Samosas was perfect - flaky with a bit of chew ( as it should be). And the potato and peas filling was indescribably good. These Samosa’ are sharable and packed with flavor. They came with tamarind and mint accompaniments and you don’t need them either, but they’re nice to have! Chicken Tikka Masala I have missed you! This tasted like home! Rich tomato based sauce with tender moist chicken chunks that tasted like they had been friends for more than a few hours. The rice was light, fragrant and a wonderful sidekick for the sauce. The garlic Naan was buttery, crispy and garlicky. Perfect! This meal was on a roll, so I ordered dessert, Gulab Jamun, to go. When I arrived home and opened the container, there were only 2. Gulab Jamun is a wonderful dessert, little fried dough pillows in a warm sweet sauce. I’ve had it many times and you really cannot eat much of this because it is sweet however it would take 2 or 3 of these to equal 1 DUNKIN donut hole. Here, they were the traditional size, and they were delicious however, I think dessert is better shared but there’s Zero chance of that and at $5+ for just 2, just skip it; and that is the ONLY thing you should even consider skipping. Sageb is an exceptional dining experience, beautifully designed, immaculately clean, very thoughtful service, THE BEST!!! Thanks Deepak!

We were looking for a place to have buffet on Sunday, Saheb Indian Bistro serves buffet lunch on Saturday and Sunday from 11:30 AM to 3 PM. The variety was decent, but they didn’t have Samosa and Lamb Curry which I was looking forward to (A previous chef owner posted the menu on Google). The Butter Chicken was delicious, it was everyone’s favorite. The meat was tender and it was made with good quality chicken breast. Service was wonderful! Neeta greeted us as soon as we walked into the door. She checked on us frequently and made sure we had everything that we need. We arrived one hour before buffet ends; we were afraid that the food will not be as fresh. Neeta refilled appetizer and a few other items to make sure we have plenty of food. The only downside was she offered Garlic Naan, I asked if it was included in the buffet and I must misheard her response. We end up paid almost as much as one person buffet price for the Garlic Naans. I wish she didn’t make the offer if it was not included. However, the regular naan was free with the buffet. We all enjoyed our meal, everything was delicious. I would imagine other dishes from the regular menu will be just as good. We will have to go back soon.

I have mixed feelings, the food was pretty tasty in my opinion (my wife thought it was just Ok, not as good as our usual go to Indian place, I thought it was as good or a bit better), however the service we received had an impact in the experience, we arrived pretty late (9:15pm), but the restaurant is officially open until 10pm on Saturday according to their menu flyer and not posted in the door (we did asked if they still had time to attend us). It was around 9:30pm and they were already asking if we needed a to go box and brining us the check while we were still eating. We were not being unconscious about the time, we were planning to finish our meal and leave as soon as we could. At the end the waiter said “next time come early”. I would still give it a shot at an earlier schedule, my family wouldn’t.

Saheb Indian Bistro is nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment you step inside, you’re welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality that makes you feel like family. The ambiance is elegant yet inviting, striking the perfect balance for both casual dining and special occasions.

Now, the food—absolutely phenomenal. Every dish bursts with authentic flavor, prepared with care and passion that you can taste in every bite. The spices are perfectly balanced, not overwhelming, but deeply satisfying. The butter naan is soft and pillowy, the curries are rich and aromatic, and the vegetarian options are just as thoughtfully prepared as the meat dishes. You can tell that only the freshest ingredients are used.

What truly sets Saheb Indian Bistro apart is the consistency—every visit is just as impressive as the last. The staff take time to explain the menu, make personalized recommendations, and ensure every detail is perfect. They were also incredibly kind to my child, making sure he had options that suited him, which made the experience even more special for our family.

If you’re looking for authentic Indian cuisine that will leave you craving more, Saheb Indian Bistro is the place. It’s a gem that deserves to be celebrated far beyond the local community. With food and service this outstanding, it won’t be long before Saheb becomes a household name.

Highly recommend to anyone who loves food that feeds not just the stomach,...

Saheb Indian Bistro in Midlothian has the most amazing ( Chana Masala) they call it Choley Punjabi. Indian Vegan Food is my favorite of all the cuisines and this dish among all the other dishes are outstanding. I could not stop saying “Mmmm” when eating their version of Chana Masala. I love it with roasted papadam. If you want amazing Indian food that has the most flavor possible without hotness ( as in hot peppers) I would go to this restaurant and enjoy their food. The fragrance in there is such that I wish to wear it as my perfume and the decor is so lovely. The warmth and kindness from all the staff there is wonderful. It’s my very favorite Indian restaurant of all time. If you want hot and spicy, of course you can have it that way but I have found that it’s usually a challenge for an Indian restaurant to make dishes that are perfection as this place does!!! I love them in every way!!! I live out of town but this place has fed my heart, stomach and soul!!! Please help keep them thriving!!! They are a gift and blessing to this area of Midlothian, VA and surrounding area!!! I’m not the only one that feels this way, my friend also told me she loves this restaurant!!! May they be blessed with long lines out the door . It truly is that good and they deserve the business!!!! Thank You to all of the wonderful team at Saheb Indian Bistro!!! ...
