I've hesitated writing a review because it is my "local" Starbucks and the weekend baristas have been great ... BUT after this morning my 2 star rating is being generous. The 2 stars is just because they are well stocked on food (rarely out of items which is nice) and again the weekend service has been good. The lack of the remaining 3 stars is for poor service, specifically the weekday morning baristas on multiple occasions. To the woman who was making and serving the drinks... Please learn to even pretend a little to like people and your job. Starbucks offers decent pay and benifits so u could have it a lot worse. I have a job too that I have to go to in the morning. I don't want to be up that early, and I would rather be home... But I am absolutely not rude to people when I am at said job. I fake that smile so that the people I encounter are treated with a little bit of common courtesy that can really make a difference in someone's day. You all but ignore the mobile orders and when people do ask for them because they have been sitting on the back counter for a while... your rolling of the eyes does make the mobile order or the customer go away. I get u are busy... I get that, but dang, just smile ... Or say have a good day... Or use the customers name.... Or steal from chick fil a and throw in a "my pleasure". Just something! I started waiting until after my 45 min drive to work to go to Starbucks in the morning because at least the baristas at the Quantico VA location seeming like the human race and their jobs. The few negative employees there are giving the few really good employees there at the Springfield...
Read moreMy complaint about this location is the lack of customer service. If the line is long, there is usually just one person at the register even though you see other employees standing behind the counter. Then when you get to the register, it's not uncommon for the person to walk away and not even acknowledge your presence. Happens all the time. Tonight was really bad. I walked into the store, and there was a group in front of me who just ordered their drinks (3 people). After their order was rang up, the person at the register just walked away and didn't even acknowledge that I was standing right there. I was the only other person in the store. At a minimum, he could've said "someone will be right with you" but instead I was completely ignored. I assumed his shift was over and understand wanting to go home, so I waited patiently for the other employee to take my order, who was also the barista. But then the phone rang, and the person who was behind the register picked up the phone and rang in another order right in front of me. The entire time, one guy in the group who ordered before me kept telling him "you have another customer right here". But I was still ignored. Then another person walks into the store, and the same guy behind the register gets him a cup of coffee while I'm still waiting for someone to take my order. Really???? If you are off the clock and don't want to help me, then why are you 1) taking an order on the phone? 2) Then getting coffee for someone who came in after me? Starbucks needs to have some customer service training, because that was...
Read moreThe store is near my house so I’m a usual customer. I order online most of the time and never had an issue. Today I place online order and went to pick it up. My order was not there. I waited for a few minutes and ask. There were 4 staff, 2 Ethiopians, 1 Asian and one black American, they all told me I picked it up or my family did. I said no I didn’t neither my family. They waited for few minutes and told me I ordered it in another place. I showed them my online order. Then they said they will make me another one. Another lady /white/ come and said the same thing that she lost her order. No question asked the Ethiopian lady stopped doing my order and prepared the ladies order and gave it to her. When my prefer is ready before she gave me, the Ethiopian guy come and start looking for the previous order saying he is sure they made it and some one picked it up. I asked why don’t you believe me when I said I did not picked it up. It took me 14min to get my order because they didn’t trust me. I was there at 7a and left at 7:14a. I wonder why it’s so hard for them to trust me like the other white lady who got her order with out any question? I asked them? Why? Is it because I’m black? It’s hard when your own people have a hard time trusting you. I love Starbucks but...
