Honestly, it's the best place I have found that serves the type of food I like. Cava was one that hit many of my standards but also missed the mark on many others. Chipotle is an old goodie but I don't crave that on a daily basis. Mediterranean food has always been my go to as I am Mediterranean. I may be a little biased when it comes to my cuisine but not when it comes to where I eat. The delivery was hella late, but I was informed and the driver was so sweet about it. It was my first time ordering from here (old keen mill) I haven't been inside. I looked it up and also found the owners were actually American and Middle Eastern (not sure from where but not Israeli as the last name was of Muslim origin). It was delicious and the selections were expansive. I tried the chicken kabob, lamb kefta, shredded lamb, and a bowl tailored to my taste! The sauce (tatziki) was so rich and creamy, and the eggplant was thinly sliced and fried to perfection! The pita was so fresh, fluffy, and thick it reminded me of the Turkish bread I got from Atilla off of Columbia pike :). I seriously can't say enough, the olives were delicious and I'm not even a fan of black olives in general, though I eat kalamata olives ;) The soda has cane sugar and the cola tastes like true cola! I'm beyond impressed! Im so glad I decided to order out today. As I've never seen the option on grub hub before....
Read moreAs an active duty military member in this society, normally, I'm an avid supporter of this restaurant, but not anymore. After coming here to pick up an order for my wife, I see two workers standing in front of me as I wait for 5 minutes with no one in line in front of me. No one greets me and says I'll be with you or anything. I'm thinking to myself maybe they're busy, despite the place being empty. Low and behold, a white customer walks in front of me and no more than 3 seconds after arriving, he is greeted by the cashier with her asking "How can I help you"?. I interrupt and tell her I've been waiting patiently right in front of her and was never even greeted, but I told her I was next in line. I told her I'm just trying to pick up an order for my wife. Only then did she take my order without even offering an apology. I then asked to speak to a manager, who just happen to be the one standing in line "stacking the veggie bar" as all this played out. She witnessed everything and said nothing. How do I know she witnessed everything? Because she stood in front of me for 5 min. She told me her name was michta... I definitely feel discriminated against which is unacceptable. I will no longer support...
Read morenice place not gonna lie but I feel their is still a lot to work on, staring with employees. I have been In different Mezeh around the DMV but almost all of them welcome customers but not in this one [ Springfield ] the food was flavorless and service was not good as well, the lady who made my order don't even ask if was for here or togo she just grab a togo container. I'm not gonna say she was rude because she wasn't but I feel she was frustrated in some kind of way, I hope this review help you to work in things like food and customer services. sometimes even the smallest thing can make the difference. At first, it was only my opinion about the food and the employees’ behavior, but later I realized the problem is not only the staff but also the manager. Apparently, after I paid my bill, an extra charge of $4.05 was added to my card without my consent.
When I went back to the restaurant, the manager was completely unprofessional and refused to provide any solution. I showed him my receipts and everything, but it was clear he didn’t care. He even had the audacity to give me a fake name. I asked for information to contact corporate or his area manager, and he...
