The Royal Banquet & Event Center — Attraction in Burke

I was greatly disappointed with my visit to check out the space. The space was nice but unlike many of the great reviews about the coordinator Jessie/Jessica, she was not very attentive to us. She was constantly texting and on the phone while showing us the space. It was really unprofessional and off putting. Not to mention, she seemed to be confused/forgot that she scheduled us for the time we came in. People are human so fine but that plus the inattentive behavior was disappointing. Then she proceeds to tell us, she’s not normally like this, it’s been a busy week and she has a flight to catch. Okay fine, but I don’t think that warrants you to constantly be on your phone texting/on calls. I rather she would have told us it wasn’t a good time. I just didn’t feel like she cared to do business with us. I’m very big on relationships and customer service so based off of that, I would not feel comfortable to leave an important occasion in her hands. Additionally, she never sent me the pricing and she told me I would get it by Monday or Tuesday. I went to visit the space last week Thursday and today is now Wednesday. I’d like to give a huge thank you to The Royal’s owner Yahya and event manager Jes Clemente! We had an event this past weekend which was originally going to be outdoors and the weather drastically changed last minute causing us to scramble to find a place at the 11th hour. From the moment Jes went to bat for us to be able to use the Royal Banquet Hall until the end of the actual event, her support was phenomenal! We also had vendors cancel on us the day of the event and she stepped in to make sure we found replacements. She even became our photographer on the spot when they cancelled on us. She is amazing at her job and she takes the time to genuinely help out in any way that she can. I cannot thank her enough for her kindness and flexibility throughout this stressful event planning and execution process. THANK YOUUU. And the Royal!
