This Starbucks is the worst one in the NOVA region. It is not even on Nutley St., - it's just off of and faces Lee Highway/Rt.29 in the infamous ( for allowing too many vagrant slags hanging 'round for long periods of time not in any sort of customer status - drinking alcohol/dealing/doing illegal drugs, etc. ) Pan Am strip shopping mall. All the business operator's along this same 'strip' that the Starbucks is on ( and beyond ), facing Rt.29 - keep all of the close, available, SUPPOSED to be CUSTOMER designated parking all filled up so on your average day you might want to go there to do business such as at this Starbucks - you end up having to park the equivalent of an entire city block - or more - away from the business/Starbucks - and have to walk the same distance both to and from same to get a cup of java? ( no drive thru, here, either ). As usual, the mall owner has, also, all the parking spaces painted up as totally narrow/tiny as ( permissable? ) could possibly be - thru out the entire mall - so you are like a sardine in a sardine can trying to squeeze in and out of your auto - if you drive there. The coffee here, also, is funny tasting - as if contaminated somehow, or with something other than coffee. As well as the Starbucks service personnel not being at all polite/respectable as normally should be as with most Starbucks visited thru out the area. Maybe these new, significant wage increases are not and never will be enough for so too many? Anywhere? I recommend avoiding this difficult-to-get-to Starbucks - as well as the rest of the businesses along this particular 'strip' at Pan Am facing and just off Rt.29. Such as with the many Dominoe's Pizza business - who's delivery driver's significantly add to the already difficult parking issue detailed above. With no respect at all to the potential customer base that would increase - that they obviously care...
Read moreUgh I do not know what is going on with their morning staff, but FIVE times now when I order a chai tea latte through my mobile app, it comes back clearly tasting like just a plain latte. Which is crazy to me because again, I ordered through the app, so the sticker clearly says it is a chai. I feel like they are rushing and not reading through it. The saving grace is that when I have time to ask them to make another one they always do, but the whole reason I usually do a to-go order in the first place is because I am rushing to daycare or work... so I don't always have time to ask for a replacement. Then I'm annoyed for the rest of the day that I paid for something I...
Read moreI wanted to change up my usual routine that has been pumpkin spice latte and I went for the iced pumpkin cream chai tea latte instead! I had almost considered a double smoked bacon egg & cheese sandwich but I passed on it because I figured that I would just wait until lunch. This isn't my usual location but I've been here a few times and enjoy the vibe here. It was busy at around 8:30am this Saturday, but it wasn't chaotic. I've noticed that the closer that you get to the city the more chaos exists simply due to the increased number of customers. The music was reasonable and there were about four tables with chairs to sit. Overall I would consider this to be a...
