I'll put this out there up front, I don't love Starbucks. As a former barista at a small but very busy shop in Arlington, VA, I usually prefer to frequent mom & pop stores and like their products; HOWEVER, I love the employees at this store. My dad comes in from out of the state every few weeks or months and has made acquaintances with them. They always remember his nickname, say very loud and friendly hellos when he walks in, AND every once in a while I visit with him and they always remember my name. It's the type of relationship you'd hope to have at a smaller business who cares about their regulars, except it's a Starbucks. Starbucks' product quality speaks for itself, you either like it or don't, but you know exactly what to expect and they're everywhere. Despite not caring for Starbucks coffee in general (which is a personal preference unrelated to this store), I'll go to this location simply because of the staff. Part of my love of coffee shops is the atmosphere, and they are better/friendlier than any other Starbucks I've ever visited, and several mom & pop...
Read moreI would give 0 if I could the customer isn't right with the manager at this store.
The (manager) JEN OR JENNIFER is super rude and I've never seen a (manager) argue with a customer (which was me) then on top of that she actually charged me for a refill when they are free with the app. Fine I respect your store policy and can only get one coffee at a time. But dont sit there and re charge me for it & you want to get on policy wheres my sticker for my cup showing that I paid????, but dont keep pushing my button when I said that's fine let's just move on.Shes the type of person that likes to make a simple situation become difficult and shouldn't be a manager or be in customer service. Its funny how you call yourself a manager, but yet it you just have to have the last word after the conversation is and was over. I feel bad for the owner of this location. do your self a favor and go to country side much better management and there not...
Read moreOn Friday, November 1, at about 11AM, I stopped by this Cascades Marketplace Starbucks and had Worst customer service that I have experienced in my life. I bought a breakfast sandwich at another Starbucks. I didn't have a chance to eat it for about an hour. I stopped at this Starbucks and asked them if they could reheat it for me. The girls at the counter (I don't have her name) said no, they can't do that. I asked why and she said it is a health violation. I asked her to make me another sandwich. And she said no we can't do that. And that I can buy another sandwich if I want. Any decent person would have either reheated that sandwich or would have "OFFERED" to make me a new one. These are the type of people that will...
