I don't know how to start this review. Let me just say that I'm not here to bash Starbucks. Starbucks has made me delicious coffees for the last ten years. It was the service at this location that left me so confused. I thought I was just dumb when I walked out. I came in and my venti iced tea (I said no ice) was just half a cup. I thought they spilled it or someone just came and drank half as a joke. My venti latte, that I never order with whip cream, was now in a grande cup. I asked them why this was and the woman's response (they called the manager on shift over to answer my question because they didn't want to?) Was, and I'm not joking. "Don't expect more drink if you don't order ice." So they downgraded my drinks down a cup because apparently ice and whip cream is double?? I got in my car and tried to customize through the app and used the same drink I always do and added whip cream and then another order without whip cream. They were the same price 🤨 so was the iced tea without ice. I paid $17 for four drinks and two of which were just a disappointment. I literally ordered the same drinks the day before, and for the past decade. Never had this issue. Especially not the response I got. I don't need free stuff or money back, but if you work in customer service, do your job. I called corporate to verify that this is correct or have I been getting special treatment all the other times. The gentleman said that was not done right and apologized and offered to pay back for the ice and whip cream 😆 Please learn customer service....
Read moreMy family and I went through the drive through (total of 5 of us in the car). We were ordering drinks for each of us and when we got to the 5th one, the incredibly rude manager interrupted us and we were informed they had a 4 person drink limit in the drive through. We said, we have 5 people in the car and would like to have 5 drinks. She said that wasn't going to work, that we could park and order our drinks inside. We were appalled. My husband said wait hold on, can you explain this policy to me, this is ridiculous. She said if we were going to hold up her line she was going to call the police. Yes, the POLICE. We pulled to the window where they had already deleted our order. We had to re-order (sending 1 person inside to get the "apparently excessive" 5th drink. What a debacle which caused the line to be held up even more than if they had just taken the 5th drink order. 5 drinks is too many to order in the drive-through, really?!? Not 10, not 8, but 5. We were all so excited to get a Starbucks here is Lexington, and it has been such a disappointment every time I go there. Terrible management, constantly out of items (food, drinks and products). I suggest hiring a new manager to help train staff correctly, order products more efficiently and maaayyyyybe not be a tyrant about a 5th drink in the drive through.... just a thought. I mean after it all is is a business that primarily sells DRINKS....
Read moreWe just got a Starbucks here in Lexington, and my experiences have been mixed. Two extremes. Firstly, the people working at the window are always super kind and helpful, and even re-made my drink because I forgot to order non-dairy. These people are always super nice! However, there are some people who work inside who are just rude. Usually the employees who take my order are so kind and great, but it's the people making the drinks who usually have an attitude. One time I had to come inside after driving through because someone handed me the wrong order. I stood at the counter where they were making their drinks with the wrong order in hand and literally made eye contact with three employees, they all looked at me, and ignored me and kept talking to each other. More recently my friend and I came into the store around 15 minutes before they closed to get a quick iced matcha and the ladies who made our drinks left huge chunks of the matcha powder in our drinks and gave my friend like a teaspoon of cold foam (which she payed a dollar extra for) Some of the people who work here are super duper kind, and go out of their way to treat their customers with kindness. Others don't even try. I hope this company can get their barrings straight because Lexington is a friendly town, and nobody likes bad or...
