It was so bad, we left our food. This was probably the most DISGUSTING restaurant I've ever stepped foot in. We were traveling through and decided to stop for a little treat on the way home. I have Celiac Disease and DQ has NEVER made me sick before. After ordering a blizzard, I noticed the blizzard machine had a few inches of food pieces caked on to the bottom, the mixer part was dirty, and there was milk splattered all over the machine. Also, the counters where so COVERED in toppings, it looked like someone had dumped a bag of toppings out and left it. They took a scoop out of the cheesecake and used it for the Reese's which is a major contamination issue for someone who has issues with gluten or dairy. They only had a few scoops for the whole topping bar instead of scoops for each one like I've seen at others.
We decided to wait for the food and I was just going to toss it on the way out, but then minutes went by and no one had even started the ice cream (that's all we ordered) so we just left.
The staff was super unprofessional. All of them were in casual, street clothes (joggers, hoodies, etc), one was in a crop top with her purse strapped to the front of her and was just holding pickles in one hand with no gloves. She was also out in the lobby getting handsy with someone sitting down eating. One boy came through with an ice bucket, was just pushing past people, didn't say anything because he was on the phone and didn't bother to pick up any ice he dropped, the lid of the ice bin was on the floor, and he didn't even put it back...
Read moreJust stopped in to get a treet, forgot my face mask, I waited at the counter for 3 minutes before they realized I was there, after asking them to take my order as they were not paying attention to the front counter, only the drive thru, they told me I had to leave the store as I did not have a mask, I told them I would wear one if they had one, keep in mind, they had masks, were behind plexiglass, a solid wall and there was noone in the store or within 6 feet. They said they did not have one so I left. While they can have any policy they want, I used to shop here regularly, ending today, I have had the shot and had covid. Is it worth chasing all your clients away? I went around the corner to use the bathroom as they are connected to a gas convenient store, noone had on masks, the customers and they were all buying gas and convenient items. What hypocrisy....
Read moreCame to drive thru at 3:59 Friday March 24th, asked for a small blizzard with Heath bar and chocolate syrup, was told I had to pay extra, when asked why, was told it was company policy to charge extra on any special request, she said it came with hot fudge and Heath bar, I just wanted the syrup instead which costs less, I creasing story profit and making a customer happy. I would. Certainly understand if I asked for a more expensive product or asked to add extra ingredients. No other DQ has ever asked to charge me more. Everytime I come here I get, long waits, poor customer service, when I come inside, I have to beg or yell for someone to see me as they do not check for customers up front and disappear for long peiods of time.
