Never in my life did I think I would be writing a google review for a Taco Bell. For one, I am a pretty big Taco Bell fan and they have never let me down. I am also a very understanding person, when someone gets my order wrong, most of the time I don’t say anything and if it anyway unless I’m unable to eat it because of my dietary restriction. I understand people have bad days. What I experienced in this Taco Bell was like no other I’ve ever experienced. Let me paint a picture for you: it’s 1:20 on the weekend. I walk in, completely famished and ready for some delicious and affordable Taco Bell. The dining room is sparsely filled, there are about 3 other parties. I place my order, 2 spicy potato soft tacos, a cheese quesdilla, and a box of KFC potato wedges. Nothing crazy, nothing modified. The cashier didn’t hand me the receipt, my first red flag. He told me I would receive it when my order was complete. I trusted this man. I sit down, excited to treat myself to delicious and affordable Taco Bell. And in a KFC combination of all places! This was a real treat for me. 20 minutes go by, I’m looking at others around me happily munching away. The people who ordered just after me receive their food with a smile and an apology on the wait. I begin to get anxious, I go up to the front and to wait in case they forgot about my order (not sure why they would in the first place). The cashier, the one I trusted, said rudely “can I help you?”. I told them I haven’t received my food yet and he told me it would be out in a minute. I sit down again, reaching 30 minutes now and in hanger mode. This is when I hear that the people who just received their food up at the front say they did not get what they ordered. They received two potato tacos and a quesdilla without chicken instead of two beef tacos and a quesdilla with chicken. The man was handed off the food and was promptly threw it out. We’re reaching 40 minutes now, the two women who received my order now have their food. The man comes up to me and hands me a bag (though I ordered dine in, I was sitting at a table the entire time) with two tacos, half my order, but ok, we’re getting there. I eagerly open my tacos, but alas... they’re beef. I cannot eat meat. I’m so frustrated and hangry at this point that my fiancée has to take the tacos to the front before I cause a scene. She explains to him that we still don’t have half our order and the other half is incorrect. Another 15 minutes pass and I finally have my full order and it’s correct. The potato tacos were really sad. There’s perhaps 4 or 5 potato bits and a pinch of wilted lettuce. The fries were hard and stale as well. But, in that moment, we were eating and that was a miracle in and of itself. I didn’t ask for a refund or cause a scene, because in the end I did receive my order, and damn, these people work fast food and don’t deserve that kind of disrespect. So, if you made it this long, this is a fair warning to stay away from this place. There are far better Taco Bell’s around the area who won’t serve...
Read moreBoy.. I wish I could give this excuse for a taco bell no stars and still write a review. Waited 20 min in line for 3 tacos and a burrito. Not even going to get into how skimp the items were. My main focus of this is encounter was the lack of service.. after the 20 min wait I was asked if I'd like any sauce. I said yes n asked for hot. When the gentleman came back he had 4 packets...... now I can't speak for everyone else but umm a packet is 2 bites for me. Now I didn't fly off the handle I just asked for more. As he started to grab more sauce he was stopped by his manager (35 to 45 year old lady) who asked what he was doing. He said getting more sauce n she immediately said no.. now mind you I can hear her. I followed by asking really? And she just walked off. The man who was serving me said they were only allowed to give out so many per order. Seeing what that guy had to deal with for a manager I just said alright n drove off. If that's what that guy had to deal with I wasn't going to make his night any more difficult... Now if this was the first time I'd let it slide but this wasn't the first. I once ordered 15 dollars worth of food and had to come inside from the drive through for more sauce where the manager (same lady) checked my bag of food before she gave me more sauce... sorry I didn't know the the sauce was made with gold n required security clearance... long story short. That manager works nights. so I won't be going back after 5pm. Side note if you want great taco bell n half the bin of sauce when you ask for extra, hit up the taco bell on mercury. Since they clearly don't want to work...
Read moreAvoid this establishment. Besides the fact that it's overpriced (as with most fast food), I've often had long wait times in the drive thru and several times was given something other than what I ordered. Today it happened again and I decided to return and ask for a correction. Inside the store, when it was my turn to be assisted, the associate stared at me and just stood there, saying nothing for an awkwardly long time. I finally said "there's an issue with my drive thru order" and he cut me off to say he couldn't hear me (he was wearing an ear piece in one ear which made me think he might have a hearing impairment). So I speak again in a louder voice and the manager runs up and screams at me for "yelling" at her employee. No "sorry we got your order wrong and you had to come all the way back". Instead I get "YOURE NOT GONNA DO THAT IN HERE! you're not gonna treat my employee like that!" etc. Really? When I speak normally and someone says "I can't hear you," the implied request is "say that again louder." Maybe it does look like yelling to someone who didn't hear the first part and has no context (the manager), but how absurd to just start going off on customer, especially one who is already frustrated for good reason. They did correct my order, but I got bad service and was treated like crap, which makes coming here not worth...
