TL:DR - Employees do not pay attention to pickup orders. Food was cold, bland, and not worth the hassle. The less summarized version - We had some errands to run before getting there, so we requested the order be ready in an hour and a half (The app allows you to request a specific pickup time). We arrived a bit before the time we requested and found the food was already bagged up and sitting on the front counter. In fact, I could see on the slip that the food was prepared shortly after we placed the initial order, so it had been sitting there for over an hour getting cold, no heater to keep it warm. Everyone was scrambling around and paying no attention to the pickup area. We had to ask, "Do we just take this?" and someone nodded a yes. No one checked to make sure it was even our order. Anyone could have grabbed it. We had to reheat everything when we got it home. One of the items we ordered was missing. Some of it was ok, but most of it wasn't worth the hassle of dealing with the lacking service. I used to get crunch wraps years ago at a different location and usually enjoyed them. The ones we got here hardly had anything inside them, so it was mostly just eating bland tortilla wrappers. We were pretty excited to see that this location was opening up considering the lack of decent fast food chains in the area. Unfortunately our first visit did not impress, and I doubt we will...
Read moreWe ordered delivery so I don't know the ambiance of the location. But the food and service were great. The ordering experience, speed, getting the order right first time, and packaging for delivery . We ordered all vegetarian fare and were not disappointed in the quality of the ingredients and presentation of the food. The portions are a touch slim but what you'd expect given the low price.
A better value than Chipotle unless you order exclusively the "Supreme™" items. Speaking of which, the Crunch Wrap and Chalupa were crunchy and delicious even after the delivery. The Supreme items are amazing if you're craving but the bowls and burritos are best value buy. We got a free Doritos taco. The shell was delicious, not as potent as a Dorito and there was basically nothing inside tho.
The black beans hold moisture better than the dried out ones you'll get at Chipotle. The lettuce and tomato were also more crisp then you get from Chipotle. Nothing was overly salty, cheesy, or sour creamed™ like you get most places.
It looks like you can get unlimited hot sauce packets for 0.00? Unfortunately they didn't have any Diablo available so I got 4 of each of the others.
We're looking forward to ordering from this location again and trying the Cinnabon flavored coffee and...
Read moreI tried to give this place a chance before writing a review, and after 3 times I think I'm ready to declare that this TBC location has AWFUL, extremely slow order fulfillment. If you order online for pickup, during peak hours you'll be waiting there for almost an hour for fast food tacos.
One time my order was missing 2 quesadillas and when I went back to get them they told me they had made them but since they forgot to include them they had given them away to other people. I stood there for a whole 15+ minutes waiting for them to remake 2 quesadillas.
Another time I only ordered 3 items in advance and it took an HOUR to get those 3 items. Many staff members were visibly not working on anything, and those who were making food items were stopping to talk to each other despite the growing number of customers waiting for their orders.
The food is normal Taco Bell food, but with the slow order fulfillment your food also comes partially cold and it makes everything less tasty.
Overall, the efficiency of this location really needs to be fixed. Staff need to be trained on how to deal with peak hour order fulfillment and time management. I'm very disappointed in all of my...
