Burger District — Restaurant in Arlington

This burger spot has been around for a good minute. I just never crossed the bridge to Virginia to see what was up with it. Well…that ended today!! Let’s GO!! . Where I am: @burgerdistrictofficial . Their Curly Fries ($3.50). DELICIOUS. Nicely cut. But just good.

Their Spicy Cheese Curds (with ranch dip $10.95). STAMP!! Spicy fried cheesiness!!

Their Chili Cheese Fries ($8.50). LIKE THAT! A Housemade chili, with that good old movie theater cheese!!

Their Wild Blue Catfish Strips (with a aioli $14.95). LIKE THAT! Crispy, thick, & tasty!!

Their Royal Smoked Burger (1/2 pound black angus burger with BBQ, cheddar, apple wood smoked bacon, koki krisp onion strings, & a fried egg $15.95). STAMP!! A well put together, tasty burger…period.

Their BD Signature Burger (1/2 pound black angus burger with mayo, mustard, diced tomato, onions, relish, lettuce, & pickles $13.95). STAMP!! Quality protein, simple thick, & juicy!!

Their Wings (9 hot chili garlic wings with ranch $14.95 $.95 each on Wednesday’s). STAMP!! Caught me off guard!! Crispy, & spicy!!

Their Chili Cheese Dog ($7.95). LIKE THAT!! House made chili, movie theater cheese, & a snapback dog!!

Their Double Bacon Cheeseburger (2 angus patty’s, l.t.o., Wisconsin cheddar, bacon, & their District sauce $19.95). STAMP!! I doubt that you could finish this!!

Their Strawberry Oreo Milkshake ($7.95). STAMP!! Thick, buttery, creamy!! . Customer Service: On Point . Online Navigation: Easy. . Parking: Rough. . Music: YouTube-Rare Essence Pocket . Atmosphere: This place is really weird. It looks like they couldn’t decide whether they wanted to be a bar or fast casual spot. They have a full bar with TVs , but no bartender (on Sunday for the first week of NFL), and 20 large tables but no wait staff, and you order at an awkward counter near the door.

While I was sitting here finishing my burger a big family of 10 with a bunch of small kids came in and they were completely confused from the start. They were asked if they were dining in, and then after they said yes, they were asked for their order. They asked for menus, but were told there are no menus because the only way to order is from a tv on the wall that rotates through the menu.

I wasn’t sure how to get a drink. There’s no self serve water or anything like most fast casual places, and no water fountain behind the weird desk you order from. If you want something to drink you have to walk back over to the person at the ordering desk, who then walks to the kitchen and brings you a glass. If I wanted a beer from the bar. I assume it would be the same system, but I didn’t bother to go through that.

Food: Pretty expensive for what you get. I ordered an $11 burger that was way over cooked. I didn’t seem to have an option on how I wanted it cooked. It was pretty well done and spongy. They claim to be fresh angus hand made patties, but I couldn’t tell.

I didn’t see any options for sides, so I assumed it came with something . I was wrong. After I ordered, the TV changed the menu and showed the sides. So dumb

First impressions tell me this place won’t last long. It hasn’t had a strong start because until that family showed up I was the only person there. This place is a bit of a disaster...

I ordered through Uber Eats and to my surprise, I opened the bag to find spring rolls and tofu from a place that supposedly sells burgers. I called the restaurant to explain that I had been given a completely different order and they were no help at all. The woman on the phone was very dismissive and told me that they gave the food to the correct driver but that was clearly not the case as I received food from a completely different restaurant with a different name on the receipt.

I asked for the manager and she hung up only to call me back and claim that the manager wasn't there but told her to tell me that I should call Uber and deal with them. They did not offer to re-send my correct order, they did not apologize, and they were very rude.
