Warning to all business' to stay away from this restaurant venue. We have used this restaurant for holding private dinner events for our company several times in the past. They have always strived to meet and surpass our expectations. However, last night, we had scheduled to hold two business dinner events, back to back, in their private dining room as usual. Unfortunately, last night, the restaurant was extremely busy, and the management decided to seat their guests on our side of the restaurant, all around our private business dinner. Even after reviewing the specifics of our needs and expectations, no interruptions, controlling the overhead music, etc., they still chose to not honor our agreement, and instead, sat all of their guests within our private space. We spend thousands of dollars to market our events, get our invited guests to the venue, and spend hundreds more on food and drinks on the night of the events. The management took no responsibility at all last night, except to say they had no other choice. I ended up cancelling our 2nd dinner of 18 people, given we had lost our private dining room space, and I couldn't be heard above the loud noise all around us, birthday parties, etc., and before I could even break down my equipment and pack up my computer, they were already rearranging the tables to make room for their newly arriving guests, specifically a party of 15 people, who they sat directly in the middle of the room I was just set up in. Their lack of commitment to our agreement, and disregard for our guests, not to mention the loss of revenue to our company for the marketing and food and beverage costs exceeded several thousand dollars, of which they had no concern. We will "never utilize this restaurant" or its sister restaurant ever again. If you are a business, considering using this venue, I strongly encourage you to look elsewhere, or the same could happen to your business as well. The staff are strictly focused on making the most money and filling every table, even after we had a contract weeks ahead for the private dining room space. Terrible management, public relations, and disrespect for our business and our invited guests who were made very clear and aware, that the restaurant had no concern for them whatsoever, over making money for themselves. I hope it was worth it for you to lose ours, and hopefully many other business' patronage, over your poor management skills and loyalty to a contract!

Firstly, I had to wait too long for my order to be taken - I came in around 5:30 before the big crowd and it took at least 10 minutes for my server to show up. This is a big deal in a shopping area where people like myself just want to get in and out. I would suggest that seating hostess be able and offer to take drink and appetizer orders upon seating guests - a very very simple solution. Food was outstanding actually - I was quite surprised in fact. Refreshing change from the trend of microwave reheated disasters I have experienced elsewhere recently. I got the Clint Eastwood burger with added jalapenos - but it didn't show up with the jalapenos and had to wait for them to show up. I honestly put this on my server who should have been checking on this before it was brought to me. The pecan pie was the the actual highlight of the night and left me wanting for more - it was like something my granny made back in day - rich and loaded with nuts - so sad it was so thin though. I also ordered the buffalo wings appetizer and I was pleased to see they brought out freshly made to order wings (so many places fail on the apps and give you reheated nuked stuff nowadays). Food was top quality. In summation I paid alot for my meal - which I am ok with due to the food quality. The service needs some help though here and hesitate to say that because I know how hard it can be to get good help these days - but honestly for the prices they are charging ($6 drafts and $7 thin slice pie) they should be able to frankly throw money at this problem and work it out. This place is right next to a big grocery store so they should expect people to want to get in and out and make it a core part of their business model. Lastly, please put the king of draught on your list there - Newcastle Brown Ale is the pinnacle of dark ales there is nothing close to it right out of the keg - yes I know it is not cheap stuff so just charge for it and make it available. All that said I recommend this place and will be back during my 3 month...
Read moreThis was my third time frequenting Timberwood Tap House and it was ok. The food is always great and my servers have always been nice, however the hostess was AWFUL. Saying that I was appalled is putting it lightly. We walked in last Sunday around 3:30pm with a group of eight and the hostess (short young lady with a bow on top of her ponytail) acted like it was a HUGE convenience for her that we were such a large party. We are a kickball team and our game had just ended. It was my suggestion that we go here since it normally has great service and food. It was a quiet time in the restaurant and there were many open seats. They barely had any patrons at this time since it is an off time between lunch and dinner. Still, the hostess made sure to voice her anger that we did not call ahead. "Well that's just a large party SO...". When she asked if we wanted to go to the bar area tables, we said that is fine and what ever is easiest, but we had an older gentleman who is handicapped. When I mentioned that we have someone using a walker or cane, she ROLLED HER EYES and huffed and said, "then you want the DINING ROOM then since all the tables by the bar area are high tops. I'll have to push tables together" like it was a massive inconvenience that we were even there. When we finally sat, this particular hostess recognized a couple of the people at our table as being her neighbors and suddenly in a snap she became sweet. It was insane the change instantly. Those people at our table were not there when she originally sat us and when we informed them of her behavior and how we were disgusted when we came in, they said that they were not surprised. Being a prior server, bartender and hostess myself for many years, I was shocked at her behavior. Again, the normal server, food and EVERYTHING ELSE was great...it was just the hostess that completely took away two stars from my review.
EDIT:: I appreciate the apology from management. Thank...
