Top's China — Restaurant in Virginia

Back to 4 stars: still forgot the dumpling sauce last night (Apr 3 2020) but their value and quality is still great for counter style Chinese food and the woman that runs this location is very customer focused. Tops is still our usual go to, and the hot and sour soup was amazing last night.

Update Aug 17: Taking it from 5 to 3 stars - something has changed, ownership I think has stepped back from day to day management. Food is still good, but the QC of bag checking is sliding. They've forgotten dumpling sauce recently. Tonight, large chicken and broccoli with no rice with it. They said they'd bring it out, which is fine, but I can't say how much Chinese delivery I've ordered in my life, and never once has the rice for the entree been omitted, not from this Top's or anywhere else...

We've been ordering takeout and delivery from this location for a few years now, and they really are the best quality/value combination for takeout in this part of Midlo. Family tradition is typically to hit one of the 2 sit down Chinese joints between Lake Harbour and Genito, but this year we decided on Top's at home in PJs. Called in a huge order on 12/24 about 1 pm (7 large entrees, 4 large soups, lots of appetizers, etc... Enough for 15 with plenty of leftovers). They were friendly on the phone, appreciative, helpful, and consultative. They even made Ma Po tofu as a special request even though it wasn't on the menu. I paid by credit card and had some family pick it up on their way over at 5pm. The large order was ready on time, completely accurate, hot, fresh, and well prepared even though we called it in 4 hours earlier. New Christmas Eve tradition is set...

This place is a joke! Don't believe what you read on here. I ordered four dinners and when they arrived at my house I only had three. Then when I call to restaurant to ask about my fourth meal THAT I PAID FOR, I was told by the manager that it was basically my fault for placing a 2 on my meals (which I wanted exactly the same) instead in putting it in the cart twice. Then when I proved my point by saying one meal does not cost $20 dollars, she hung up on me! So I called the delivery service and got my money back! On top of all of this the food was super basic and had no flavor! I could have gotten the same food at the same price with less attitude elsewhere, and that's exactly what I intend to do next time! I will never eat here again and I will make sure none of my friends and neighbors eat here either!!!!!! Do your self a favor and just don't eat here either!!! The food is not worth...

Very dirty place. Floor is sticking to the shoes, lady very rude and need her hearing aids since she talked very loud Overall bad experience While waiting on order I witnessed another rude service Poor lady didn't know what to do Chinese worker was very unpleasant and rude Also food was not good at all.
