I don’t understand what has happened to this location. My husband and I started going there a while back, we both really enjoy their food and I love the smoothies. We also appreciated how clean the restaurant was and enjoyed conversations with the two gentlemen that we believe are the owners or managers.
When the COVID-19 pandemic began, I started ordering via the app, exclusively. On the app, there’s a space for one to give the order a nickname and I would put the name of whoever was going to pick up the order there.
The last several orders that I’ve placed have been less than pleasant experiences for whoever’s picking them up because the employees will say they don’t have the order at all, they don’t have an order under the name being provided, or there are items missing from the order.
Today, I’ve come to the decision to no longer patronize this cafe. My son went to pick up the order, and was repeatedly asked for the name on the order. He even tried to make it easier by displaying the screenshot of the order I texted him. It still took much longer than necessary for him to finally get the order, only to get into his vehicle and see that the side order of chips was missing. I called the cafe and the young lady who answered seemed completely befuddled with our dilemma. She also wasn’t aware that my son had already returned and he informed me that while she was talking to me, she was rolling her eyes while speaking to me.
As much as we like the food, the gentlemen I previously mentioned, I love the smoothies, and we were trying to support a local business during this pandemic, the frustration of relying on obviously immature employees who couldn’t care less about the cafe’s customers is not worth our...
Read moreThis place is awful. My daughter got her first job here and we couldnt be more embarassed and disappointed in the owners. We just moved to the area and thought this would be a fun place for her to work for the summer, as it is right across from CNU and pretty centrally located. My wife and I actually asked for the job application from Dipal, one of the owners, while we were getting smoothies. My daughter's first day was great, unfortunately that would be the last day she enjoyed work. In the span of a month all of the staff that was there when we asked for the application were fired. My daughter watched her new friends, two of which had been there for over 4 years get fired without cause, and zero explanation.
This wretch of a woman had the audacity to ask my 16 year old daughter why she was making restocking her station fun. She interrogated her about throwing away rotting kale. She forces the employees to show her the rotting food, or in her absence, call her and ask permission before disposing of rotting inventory. This woman treats smoothies like prized possessions and her employees like sub-humans.
Why cant making smoothies be fun? The website, under the franchise tab says "We're everyone's happy place." I guess thats true, unless you are a teenager that works there.
I'm in the military. My job is more fun...
Read moreIf I could I would give them a zero! I ordered a smoothie and the cashier never stated it would not mix well. She put so much water in it, it tasted just like that. I called to complain and the manager tried to put the blame on me which is unprofessional. The cashier makes smoothies not me. She should have told me or suggested what would be best. I gave Veronka (the manager) my info, and she said I could have one made again. She said she would allow me to come within one week to get another smoothie made. She was very rude to be a manager and very confrontational on the phone call. I go in and they had no record of my phone # that I gave Veronka. That made me upset! I gave Veronka my name and telephone number and they said they knew nothing about it. This was my 1st time to any TSC and I was...
