Vocelli Pizza — Restaurant in Virginia

This was my first time here, since it was right next to the nail salon i decided to get some food before going home. Some reviews saying “the best in stafford,” umm yeah that review had to be paid for because it is no way anyone’s taste buds can think this was supreme quality pizza. The way the salad was described to me by the cashier which made me get it… “premium grilled chicken” etc you would think you were getting fresh grilled chicken, clearly it is freezer processed chicken thrown on there. The pizza looks like chuck e cheese pizza and even that pizza has a slight bit more flavor to it, this one from Vocelli tastes like frozen pizza, FLAVORLESS weird texture and random pizza cheese thrown on. When you have fresh pizza made the cheese shouldn’t be stiff and get cold so soon after it is taken out of the oven, I literally live down the street and my pizza was cold when I got home. You can tell it is no care in the ingredients chosen. Their bags and boxes states “Italian quality” which is FAR from Italian Quality pizza.

The staff was friendly and their facility was clean (which is the reason I gave 2 stars instead), other than that I wont be back nor will I recommend this place. Nothing spectacular about it, I should have known as soon as I seen the oven they were using amongst other things, extremely...

Recent update: chunked it from 5 starts 2 stars and now 1 star. The owner commented under my review to contact him to fox the issue, but so far it's just been words for Google reputation. So sadly, I have to remove all stars to 1 star. The pizzas are great, I recommend. But I don't think I will be visiting there unless the owner responds. If they don't, it will stay at 1 star.

Update: got a coupon code over email. I ordered two small pizzas over phone, making sure to clarify the price AND the order. I repeated over phone and they said yes to everything. We come to pickup and they say the full price because the coupon doesnt apply to the pizzas we picked. I asked why they couldnt have told that over the phone. I doubt the coupon even worked to start with. Went away very disappointed. Felt like a scam. There was NO way the person on the call(who was the cashier) would have misunderstood. According to my previous review, I love giving them business, but this slimey gesture put me off significantly.

Old review: The pizzas they make are AMAZING! A large is enough for 2-3 people. Havent tasted pizza this...

Not all Vocelli's are the same. I've been spoiled by the one outside the Fort Belvoir gate. They know the real meaning of a hot sub. I could have dealt with the lukewarm sub and visited again, but I don't think that will happen. First I had to ask the cashier to pull his mask over his nose while I was ordering. I left out and came back to pick up my food, when I noticed the guy making pizza rolls, I believe, was not wearing any gloves and he finished one thing and went to another. As if that wasn't bad enough, he used his bare hands to scrape the extra cheese and flour that had fallen onto the table into a sifter. He then shook the sifter over the container holding flour and poured the cheese from the sifter into the cheese container to use on the next order. Soooo disappointed!! Thanks,...
