I have never been unsatisfied with this Wendy's, until tonight. (Friday, 6/30/17) My family went through the drive through tonight, and ordered TWO small chocolate frosties. THAT'S IT. After sitting over 15 minutes in the line just to PAY for it, we finally were able to pull up to the window to pay, where when we handed the employee (some young black guy) the money, he just held it for a minute, laughing and horseplaying with another employee (a young white guy). After standing there laughing, he finally gave us the reciept, and we waited once again, to pull up to the second window. While sitting there for over ten minutes, I noticed the black guy still standing around, while there had already been several cars in line waiting to order, or to pay for their food. He continued to fool around, playfully hitting the white guy, even decided to text on his cell phone. I pulled my phone out, and recorded this. Next thing you know, he ANSWERS A PHONE CALL. I got all of it on video. At this time, a customer in line had become furious, and drove off. As we sat there, my family and I were saying how pathetic it was that we were waiting over 15 minutes, for just TWO CHOCOLATE FROSTIES. Ridiculous. They could have at LEAST handed them to us through the pay window, so we could get out of the line and move on with our lives. But the black guy and the white guy in line were so busy flirting with each other to do their job. More minutes passed, and ANOTHER car pulled out of the line because of the ridiculous wait, and left. Smart people, because it took ten more minutes before we even got our frosties. We have never had such a HORRIBLE experience, and never even HEARD of such pathetic customer service. I used to come to this Wendy's often, but I will NEVER be back again. Clearly the manager didn't care either, as I saw he was there and not doing a single thing. I have seen other reviews about the manager being rude and inconsiderate, but now I know for a fact they aren't lying. I will be contacting a higher level...
Read moreI was just verbally assaulted by the "manger" at the Wendy's in Madison Heights!!!! After ordering three frosty (1 vanilla 2 chocolate) I was told they were out of chocolate. So the cashier asked the manger who was standing next to her to open the register so she could refund our money. He took one look at me and my in-laws and said he had sandwiches to make and would help us in a minute and walked away from the register. After 7+ min he still had not done the very simple thing of taking his key and opening the drawer. When asked if he could please do this so we could leave seeing as though they didn't have what we ordered he proceeded to completely loose it. Screaming about his drive through line and all the sandwiches he had to make. Telling my shocked mother in law to wipe that "freaking " grin off her face, and saying if we didn't want to wait for our money back that we could leave "his store" Ect. He then proceeded to THROW MONEY and the receipt at us.Smh poor ignorant fool can't even count because he shorted us the money we were due. Never in my entire life have a seen some one in a position of authority behave like that to two calm well spoken adults and a women who is 9 months pregnant. I am waiting to hear back from the regional manager but I will never ever go back to that Wendy's and depending on the action taken I may never go to another Wendy's again. Just wanted all my friends to be aware of the level of service they can expect if they choose to go by that...
Read moreMy daughter was a employee there and a good employee for a 16yr old and the manager daron sat around on his phone played to much instead of helping my daughter work the front and when they would get super busy my child would be stuck up front struggling to get all orders out and take the orders and on four or five occassions they allowed customers to verbally abuse my 16 yr old and do nothing to defend her or difuse it for her and these are adults verbally abusing my child so i had to go up there cause my child calls me crying and go in and tell her to get her belongings lets go its a shame her first job experience was like this and its a shame this manager was complained on and yet he still there to my understanding he went to college to be a school teacher boy you cant even run a wendys let alone a class of students i understand customer supposed to be right but we all know in the real world thats not facts first of all yalls nasty attitudes aint worth the 7.25 a hr was paying my child and when i wanted to speak to the manager no one would go get him for me bunch of punks cant even face a woman much less make sure my child is safe working in your establishment and whats sad is earlier in the day my daughter was tipped 5 bucks and told she was a great employee also got employee of the month but your manager kept allowing people to mistreat her and his lazy behind didnt do his job to help out when they was busy.... smh this wendy just gets worse over the years needs to shut...
