Wendy's — Restaurant in Virginia

I came here with my friend for lunch on the 19th and it was quite the experience. We drove there and went inside, because there was a long drive thru line. As soon as we walked in we were met with a smell like they had dropped a blunt in the fryer, mess all over the counter, just kind of an unclean space. It took the 3 employees working there several minutes to tell us that they closed the inside, and are only serving the drive thru. Okay, no big deal. However, the door was not locked, and no sign or anything. One other guy did the same thing while we waited in the drive thru.

Now we're in the drive thru, and we ended up sitting there for almost 20 minutes because it was taking about 5 minutes per car for people to get food. I ordered 2 bacon cheeseburgers, a large fry, and a Baconator. The employee who handed me our food was high as gas. She did not hand me a receipt. She gave me 2 Jr bacon cheeseburgers, which I specifically said I did not want, and did not give me The fries I ordered, and claimed that I didn't order them. The funny part is, she had just repeated my order back to me 10 minutes prior when I ordered it! The baconator was okay, but it wasn't very hot. Whatever. I just wanna go back to work and eat. So I finished my food, continued my day as normal. That was until I got home and was kept up all night with nausea and vomiting. I had food poisoning. I've now lost a day of work, which I cannot afford....

Went to this one for frosties recently. Only one car in line, at the window. I pull up, and no response for a solid minute. I say hello, nothing. Wait 30 seconds, say hello again, guy says "hold on". Another minute, nothing. I say screw it and go inside. No customers inside. Standing at the counter for a good minute. Someone looks over but doesn't acknowledge me. Keep waiting and someone finally comes over. Ask for two medium frosties. Guy can't seem to figure out that complicated order. He punches them in as small. I say I want mediums. Takes him another minute to figure out how to fix it. About 3 minutes to get my frosties (with just the same customer that's been at the window) because the guy greatly over filled one and made it a mess all over the cup and was trying to clean it all with a single napkin, but just smearing it everywhere. Then I go to get spoons, but they only have knives out. I ask for spoons and he said "we ain't got none." Did not look very clean at all inside. I'm not one to usually complain about fast food service, and this is probably the first review I've ever left for one in my life. I know there are bad days, but damn. I'd get if they were slam busy, but they was literally one other customer. Seems like this store always has problems. Go to the one just south on Hull St instead. Only a couple miles, but worth it not to deal with this store.

A female today locked the store up with her child in the lobby also stopped answering the drive thru at 530PM. VERY DISTURBING. Police were called due to the weirdness. Waiting on corporate. Hopefully she is fired. Someone was also in the drive thru trying to get a customers door dash order and was unable too. The woman giggled and the excuse was short staff. Okay lock the restaurant and take you and your child home. No answer to the lobby nor the drive thru. The food is awful but I wasnted a mixed lemonade drink and was unable to get it. Professionalism should exist no matter the job. You knew what you were getting paid when you were hired so act accordingly. There's hundreds of jobs out here if your not satisfied. And I'm pretty sure Wendy's does have a National bring your Young child to work day and stop answering orders at 530PM including the drive thru. Corporate I'll let you eat this one. It's too distasteful for me. I wouldn't recommend anyone going to this location. The officer even stated they randomly close alot. Well put a sign out. Her professionalism showed her educational level that match the issues today. Eat there at your own health risk. We sometimes risk our health for fast foods. But I wouldn't dare allow this location to be apart of a clogged artery. At no given day....
