Pollo Campero — Restaurant in Virginia

1 10 2022 Well I’m updating my review, a few Months ago I decided to give them a second chance, I’m glad I did, I’m becoming a regular customer now, the fried chicken it’s great, taste good, even 2 days after lol, sides are amazing, the campero rice and beans, the plantain and fries are my favorite.

A couple of years ago If you want a decent Grilled chicken don't come here, Chicken Fiesta is way better and is really close... I ordered a half grilled chicken with campero beans, plantain and a roll, the chicken was dry and the taste was awful didn't taste like chicken at all, they put too much lemon and it was more like roasted chicken and also the pieces are too small , the beans can be better and the roll taste like it was expired, the only good thing was the plantain... they have good prices tho but I rather to pay a little bit more and get something with better quality, I'm definally not...

Went there tuesday evening april 14 with some of the guys after work to get some takeout and I was not surpriced with the service. I guess is the new norm to be a latino and get an attitude when being served by other latinos. Nos asking for special treatment either just to be treated like any other paying customer(key word paying). Forget the attitude and stuff just remember that right now business are in the brink of either going out or barely surviving. I think a business is lucky to be selling some right now unless this is a business not afected by the stay at home orders. Glad we don't have those issues in Norh Carolina just in VA cause it ain't the first time either. We'll just stick to none latin food places when working here from out of...

On 04/15/2019 my boyfriend and I decided to visit this location... Our experience was HORRIBLE!!! After waiting for 30 mins before even being helped, we procede to the register. The lady who took our orders name was Kevelina. After waiting so long to order and then telling her our order, she asked for payment. When I pulled out my debit card, she then decided to tell me that they are only accepting cash.... I told her that that they should put a sign up for future customers kevelina insisted that it was "not her job to put up a sign, thats managements job"... We walked out of this restaurant empty handed with a lot of our precious time wasted.... This was my very first time at this location and it was a terrible visit.... My family and I will...
