3 because the girl who helped us on the speaker was really sweet and had great customer service. If I had to base this alone on the coffee, or shall I say the handcrafted beverages I'd give it a 2. We stopped here on our way out of town to get some caffeine for the trip, but being hesitant about to going to any Starbucks now a days I came prepared with caution. Being a former barista the lack of quality has gone down hill from the service to overall taste and execution of beverages in the last few years, hence why it's best to take a break when you can and try some other local establishments or even home brew when you can. I had gotten my Venti white mocha (iced) with no whip, my wife had gotten a Venti (iced) chai with white mocha and non fat milk. The "basic" and the "custom" lol, our cashier was fast, friendly and got us right to the window in about a 2 minutes.. not bad at all! Then came the actual drink tasting.. Here's a pro tip before I go there, "taste before you go." Maybe don't do it in the drive thru line but before you leave the area take a drink and make sure it tastes suitable to you. If it doesn't you can always get it replaced there or even at another Starbucks if one happens to be on your way to your destination. We made the mistake of not tasting until we got on the freeway. Here's apparently tasted waaaay off! The chai didn't really bring any flavor and you would think adding white mocha it would give somewhat of a sweetness, light because she only asked for 3 pumps but she said the drink tasted bland and watered down. Granted they probably do "half chai/ half water" or "cutting" it as they say lol but some stores don't, hence the full chai flavor. She immediately said "nope!" and put the drink down lol. As for myself I tend to like to know I'm still drinking a beverage that has espresso in it so I didn't mind that my white mocha had a more espresso then the actual flavoring but.. after a while it became less appealing and more "did I order a white mocha or a standard latte that happened to get a pump put in by accident." The thing about most Starbucks is they don't use full pumps in the drinks anymore, they softly push the pump and don't realize just how little is actually not being put into your drink. Match that with the espresso and the milk and you have no flavor. I used to love going to Starbucks because that's the only real "lazy" quick coffee fix you can get around here! Now a days you have these "hipster" shops opening up that are "good" but people have gotten used to ordering coffee like you would food at McDonald's, the Peter Griffin "I want that one!" Opposed to the snooty stares from the young patrons when you ask "what's on your menu?" When the menu is on a chalk board placed in multicolored chalk to the side of them... Sadly, the time has come when home brewed "as delicious" as it can get is becoming the new norm and that's what I'll have to be ok with...
Read moreI started going to this Starbucks when they 1st opened up and they were the sweetest and most kind people I've encountered at a coffee shop. I told them in the beginning whatever you do don't ever lose your customer service here because it's better than the coffee. Well Sunday I went in and spent over $50 on drinks and snacks and I wanted to pay with my rewards but they didn't want to add money to my rewards because it was an inconvenience apparently. I was beyond irritated and then the guy that was making our drinks got upset because I guess the lady that took our order didn't put that is was suppose to be hot so he was frustrated because he had to fix 1 drink already. So when I mentioned to him as he was making the last drink I told him that drink is worth NO drizzle his exact words were I know I got it and guess what this genius did? Added drizzle to the drink and I told him after he handed it to me, you see you all think you know it all and you still make the drink wrong because you won't slow down to hear the customer!!! I will not go back and spend a dime at this Starbucks even the rewards aren't worth the rudeness from here!!! Simply arrogant and nasty rude adult customer service!!! I already have 5 other families that will not be going back to this...
Read moreI come here a lot because I do my laundry close by & since I've been going to this store I've had so many issues with not just my simple drinks but with customer service as well. I've called corporate I've spoke to a manager etc.. for awhile now it seems they've got it a little bit better even though the store is dirty and with all the baristas they have I do not understand at all why any table nor floor should be looking the way it does every Sunday but we've thought maybe it is just our luck? Okay well the point is the place looked like it was getting better but last night once again my drink was not done right & they also added a powder that we think might have been cinnamon. Why would a barista add something that the costumer did not ask for? What if we were allergic to that product? We already had them remake our drink once & still had to go through drive thru a second time to have them remake it a 3rd time. We understand mistakes are made that's fine however it's done way way too often at this location. I don't know if they just do not value their customers here or what but...
