Eriberto's Mexican Food — Restaurant in Vista

Having reviewed the Emerald Drive Eribertos location, the Civic Center location is far superior.

While carne asada fries at both locations are around $16, the Civic Center location DID NOT reduce the portion size of their food (unlike the Emerald Drive location). Not only is the food portions are what I would expect from ordering at Eribertos, the choice of beef flank, mexican cheese, and use of real potato pieces (versus French fry cuts at the Hacienda/Emerald Drive location) made the food extremely delicious. I definitely felt like I was getting my money's worth.

Will likely not revisit the Hacienda Drive Eribertos for carne asada fries.

Went through the drive-thru. Ordered a carne asada burrito. Got some crap that wasn't that but didn't know until I was a few miles away at the gas station. Came back walked in. They were quick to make me the correct order. When I started to eat my carne asada burrito. Had to eat half of it before I got to the asada part. Everyone who loves carne asada burritos out there knows that if you don't have the asada on the whole thing it's like getting a mouthful of meat every time with none of the flavor you like. Went there on a rainy Wednesday and ordered two beef super burritos which is promised to include sour cream, guacamole, pico de Gallo, rice and BEEF. What we received were burritos full of rice, peppers, onions, and what can only be described as shredded pork when we were actually able to find any. We ate through half thinking the meat was coming but finally gave up, inspected the remaining portion and confirmed it was not even close to what we ordered. It was pretty much a vegetarian burrito.
