Nucci's Italian Cafe & Pizza — Restaurant in Vista

Third Visit: Again, everything was perfect. We chose the same table in the sun The patio Heater CA was turned on at dusk so we never felt the chill. The water glasses were smaller than in the summer, but arrived promptly. The Servers were attentive but not pesky. The garlic knots were amazing and the server brought us a marinara dipping sauce when asked. The basket contained exactly 2 knots for each person. As soon as the knots were eaten, our generously sized salads arrived. The house dressing is wonderful. Again no waiting for our small pizza cut into 6 pieces not 8 because we had 3 people in our party. Each dish arrived with another round of napkins. The server provided small plates with the garlic knots and replaced them with larger plates when the pizza arrived. We can. Count on Nick's for a perfect meal.

First visit. Walked there for husband's birthday. Sat outside comfortably near their pole heater. Service was wonderful. Visited our table just often enough to feel helpful, not pushy. This food is everything you can dream of! This food is the closest thing to authentic food from the east coast. I am super picky and today I just wanted something that made me feel like I’m back home. I read the reviews and gave it a try. The lady who answered the phone was so friendly, welcoming and provided an amazing suggestion: grilled shrimp with veggies pasta. The portion was fantastic and quite large. The taste is of the heavens: garlic, wine, and butter The veggies cut fresh and cooked just right. The shrimp was grilled to perfection. The dinner special also came with salad and huge garlic knots. I am so happy I found a place where the food is incredibly fresh, portion is perfect and the price is amazing! I paid 58 bucks for two large dinners, huge garlic knots, two side salads, tiramisu, large soda and bruschetta. The service was top tier! I loved how I was treated by the lady at the front. It felt like home and I needed that. I can’t remember her name, but I remember her telling about the flower fields. Protect her soul at all cost!...

Nuccis is the best. If you are going to eat anywhere, support this amazing family-owned restaurant with great service and delicious food. We have been going there or ordering out from there for years - had our rehearsal dinner there when we got married too! Always had a great experience. The staff is welcoming and makes you feel like family. They care about their customers and go out of their way to make sure you are happy. One time we had a bad experience with Door Dash and our order not going through and Nuccis was so accommodating and apologetic when it wasn’t even their fault at all. Cannot say enough great things about them - plus their food really is very good and keeps us coming back.
