Pure Project is an amazing venue and has the BEST staff for hosting events. My now husband and I held our casual rehearsal dinner at Pure Project Vista in September. We rented their semi-private barrel room and it was the PERFECT space - so beautifully decorated, private bathroom, and plenty of space, tables, couches, etc. for just our guests to enjoy, but just a few steps away from the counter for beer ordering (each guest of ours got 2 tokens for drinks - there are so many different and delicious options to choose from!). It was also an affordable event option, compared to other breweries/restaurants - you cannot beat the value of the service, time, and space you get. Anjelica Wilson is the event manager and she seriously is AMAZING! She was so helpful with all the planning beforehand (we live out of state so we handled it all over email), but for the event itself she blew me away with how much she took care of for us so we could just focus on enjoying our time with our guests. She worked with our caterer (they allow outside catering) to get everything set up perfectly and when we needed it (the caterer delivered a little early so she made sure to store our cold food items in their fridge in the meantime). She kept checking in on me and my then fiancé throughout the night to see if we needed anything or had any questions, and would even go get us drinks so we could keep socializing with everyone! And when everything was wrapping up she took care of all the cleanup and packaged our leftover food in to-go containers, and gathered up the supplies we had brought over. The next day when we were long gone she coordinated with the caterer for them to pick up the equipment they left for serving our food. Finally, Anjelica was just the most wonderful, genuine person - she really cared that our event went well and was executed perfectly! I can't thank her enough. I highly recommend Anjelica and Pure Project for hosting your...
Read moreAccessibility: there is one accessible/handicap parking spot near the entrance (the entrance looks like a metal garage door), and the parking lot into the building is all paved, flat ground. At night the parking lot has some light but is also a tiny bit dark in certain areas. There are two bathrooms inside, all gender, with push/pull doors to enter. It is dimmer lit inside and outside they have string lights up for the nights you want to sit outside. The only issue I noticed was that the tables inside are all very tall tables with tall chairs so this is not really wheelchair friendly. Also the tables outside all have connected seats (like a picnic table) so you cannot move these chairs either. I would suggest to the company to investing in some extra tables and moveable chairs so people in wheelchairs or other can be more included.
Experience: I had a really wonderful experience! I came with my dog and right off the bat everyone loved him! The employees are so nice and greeted me as I entered. The beers were great. I especially liked the Perezoso because it was more fruity. I LOVE that they decorated for Halloween and overall this place has a very cozy feeling to it. It is a little chilly inside so bright a light sweater on rainy days. I would absolutely...
Read moreIt is truly a fantastic brewery to relax at the end of the day. This tasting room has one of the best spots to enjoy the North County San Diego weather and have a beer while you watch the sun set.
Pure makes exceptional beer, and they have a wide variety of styles. Not only do they have the local favorites like IPAs and Hazys, but they also have a great selection of Stouts, Sours, and Smoothie Beers that seem to rotate constantly. Additionally, they are one of the few breweries that makes a Hefeweizen certain times of the year, and it is perfect.
As with all their tasting rooms, it has a nice up scale vibe. This one is the nicest. Very roomy and great for accommodating parties of all sizes. There is lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Very dog friendly as well. Its a great place to bring the whole family. There is a lot of outdoor seating in front and on the side of the building. Most weekends, it seems like there is a dedicated food truck out front. Sometimes, you might even run into a makers marker here.
It is never hard to find parking. They turn on the heaters if it is cold out. The beer flights are a...
