Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Wabash

I was there yesterday after work. I’ve never been there before, I said I needed a minute to look at the menu, 30 seconds later I was asked if I was ready it. I said no just a second I’m looking at flavors. Then no joke 15 seconds later I was asked if I needed a recommendation. I said no I’m ready now. In order and drove around. When I was handed back my card I got no receipt, wasn’t asked if I need one either. They left the window open the whole time, I could see inside the workers were talking (which is fine) but also sitting on the counters that they serve food on. When I got my drink, I left. I got a small peach smoothie, it was so thick I couldn’t get it through my straw, I had to warm it up with the heat through my car vents. My smoothie was okay, kind of bland. It was definitely not worth $6 for a SMALL! You could get an entire meal at Taco Bell or McDonald’s for the same price.

Also side note: my dad had previously paid once with a $50 dollar bill and he was given change as if he paid with a $10 dollar bill, when he had said his change was wrong the girl argued with him and treated him as if he was wrong and the manager didn’t even come...

I got a coupon in the mail for buy one get one free. So figured I'd try it out. We got a small iced mocha which wasn't stirred at all and tasted like milk, and a cinnamon toast crunch latte that tasted burnt. The bill was 8.90.. I asked if she put the coupon in and she did..

So It's 8.90.. for a SMALL drink!

Go to Modocs in town or Aroma in Peru where you can get two medium drinks for that price without a coupon, and I guarantee they will taste better.

And the atmosphere at those places feels like an actual coffee shop and the service is amazing.

I guess if you're into an overpriced fastfood setting with little to no care put into your drink, Scooters would be the place for you.

I've gone twice and they're 0/3 making a triple espresso, which is a standard menu item. I've been given an iced beverage, a latte, and a hot drink in a plastic cup designed for a cold beverage.

I assume there's a training gap due to it being fairly new, but they have yet been able to produce a standard menu item despite being given multiple attempts which erodes any confidence that future attempts are...
