Got the lamb gyro and French fries. The thing was so bland and dry my first initial reaction was that they didn’t put any tzatziki inside of it. After talking with the high school girl at the counter she informed me that they put it “at the bottom.” I opened it up to see a thin layer of the yogurt sauce towards the bottom of the wrap. I ended up purchasing another Dixie cup of tzatziki to try to make the gyro palatable. The French fries were extremely dry and basically room temperature. Almost like they had been cooked and left to sit for a while. The kitchen crew looks like it is a bunch of high schoolers and college students who are ok with putting out substandard products. They need to go and find a group of Mexicans or felons because those boys know how to cook.
The atmosphere is definitely cool. The country music is interesting for a Greek restaurant but a nice touch for our Texas heritage. Definitely a cool spot for a casual date night if they can get the food figured out.

Read moreWe were excited to find a Greek restaurant near us as we love Lamb Gyros. We ordered lamb gyros, the French fries, feta fries cheese balls and chickpea balls To go. We were shocked to find that the lamb looked and tasted like shredded beef and was mostly flavorless, the sauce had a good flavor but the pita was very dry and crunchy. Both types of fries were mostly non edible because they were rock hard and burnt. The seasoning and feta on the feta fries tasted okay but the dry fries killed it. The cheese balls essentially tasted like breading and hardly anything else and tasted like they were cooked in old oil. The chickpea balls had a decent flavor but aging had a bad old oil taste. The restaurant and staff were nice and I was initially impressed but for $45 for a mostly inedible meal. I’m completely disappointed and...
Read moreThe food is fantastic and so is the service. We have gone two times so far, and love the location in Hewitt. We have tried the ribeye gyro, Philly cheesesteak gyro, shrimp gyro, chicken thigh platter, and salmon platter. The best gyro is the shrimp with a nice touch of a kick. The steak gyros are very tender and flavorful as well. The chicken thighs are moist and have a great sweetness and tang from the mustard sauce. The veggies and rice pair nicely. The tzatziki sauce has the creaminess and a good combo of cucumbers and garlic. The fries are cooked perfectly and seasoned well. A word of advice, don’t go home without one or two of their desserts. The Milfay is rich and creamy, tiramisu has a great coffee soaking of the ladyfingers, but the showstopper is the Ekmek with the honey syrup. If you haven’t tried this place,...
