Beautiful coming through the lobby glass doors. Totally beachy feel too. Loved the vibe and oh, seats are everywhere. Made me want to book a room. We see ourselves to a table of our choice, noone esle eating at the restaurant, Humm okay. Waitress was amazing. Took our order all by memory, so impressive. Oh look there's a window to the chief, making our food. Hat, sunglasses, mask, well oh okay, no biggie. Drinks sure, just okay. Two us ordered same drink different color, fine. Appetizer chicken Flatbread delicious 😋 oh yes, really good. Wanted that recipe to make at home to eat. Yummy! So drinks are drank, appetizer devoured. Our reservations were at 6:30pm and some time has passed by. Okay, Main dishes order placed, about 50 minutes later here comes dinner, yes finally 😋 Sun has gone down, not glaring in our faces anymore, yay. Oh dear, steak kebabs with rice. Not sure this looks right? Steak so tiny bitty size - "we're sorry, prepers cut those steaks the wrong size", says the waitress. REALLY!! And it still got served. Wow. How about a hair in the hamburger with yesterday's microwave French fries. Not for me. Replaced. That's...you know. I had three chicken tacos. Concept was there and taste but needed a couple more go through rounds. Those chunks of chicken were huge. Two biter pieces not one. It's like the steak and chicken needed to swap sizes. It was a good taco, all three. Dinner came to a close and the waitress was still amazing. 👏 Oh! That hamburger was compensated from the total. Thank you manager. So, yeah, my adult time without kiddos experience. Would I try again...
Read moreI hate that I have to give a bad review because the waitress and the manager tried to remedy the shortcomings of the kitchen but the food here is a bust. I don’t know how you can go from 5 star to low star reviews in a matter of weeks but that’s where it’s at. The eggplant wasn’t even cooked. It was inedible. The flatbread was ok except who in the Mediterranean slathers flatbread with Ranch dressing? 🤷🏼♀️ The kabobs our friend ate portions of were tough with pretty lousy tzatziki sauce. Cucumber anyone? It’s not just glorified sour cream, chef! Our kabobs replacement for the inedible eggplant were overcooked and skimpy. Our salad was good but we had to ask for the dressing and blueberries promised on the menu to complete it. The most irksome of the entire 2 hour ordeal was how long food sat in the queue to complete our “meals” rendering them all cold or lukewarm. At $20+ a plate, this is not acceptable. They need a competent chef and kitchen staff. The 2 day old waitress was sweet, apologetic, and awesome. Wasn’t her fault. The bartender/manager comped about half our orders but still at $100 with tip, it left a bad taste in our mouth. Hard pass on food here. The drinks were creative and good. The atmosphere was fair but how can we pay attention to that when the food...
Read moreWe had the pleasure of dining at the wonderful Circa Bar and Kitchen! We had delicious sweet tea and excellent service from Yesenia to start , by the pool. We moved inside the lovely Great Room, as we waited for our Butter Chicken Flatbread (served with an Indian flair). It was superb. Next, we were treated to an amazing pan-crusted salmon entree along with a tasty chicken kabob platter, served with a spinach/kale, blue cheese salad! Yum yum! We could tell that everything must have been prepared by a seasoned chef! We passed along many compliments to the kitchen, until Chef Eddie actually came out to visit us personally! It was truly a memorable evening with both perfect atmosphere and staff to match. Thank you, Circa and Chef Eddie! Final word... Get down here and try it for yourself. It a fresh approach a healthy dining experience. All the best! J &...
