Tikka House never disappoints! I recently tried their Goat BiTikka House never disappoints! I recently tried their Goat Biryani, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Gobi Manchurian, and every dish was absolutely phenomenal.

The Goat Biryani was bursting with flavor—tender pieces of goat cooked to perfection, layered with fragrant, spiced basmati rice. Every bite had the perfect balance of heat and aroma, and the portion was generous too.

The Chicken Tikka Masala was rich, creamy, and full of bold spices. The chicken was perfectly grilled, juicy, and soaked up that velvety sauce beautifully. It’s easily one of the best versions I’ve had.

And the Gobi Manchurian—wow! Crispy cauliflower tossed in a tangy, spicy Indo-Chinese sauce that was both addictive and satisfying. It had just the right kick and a great crunch in every bite.

My wife and I love to try new restaurants, and she really enjoys Indian. So when we learned that this restaurant was going to be coming in months ago, we waited quite impatiently. Unfortunately, we did not have a particularly pleasant experience. When we walked in, we were simply pointed to a table. We didn’t receive any kind of warm welcome. Then, we sat at our table and began watching as the waiter seated and took the orders of several other tables before us. Eventually, we had to flag someone else down. He proceeded to take our order without even an apology. The food came and it was good but not particularly impressive. After we finished, we waited once again for a to-go container and the check. After 30 minutes, I decided it was time to go up to the counter and request these things. My wife asked about the free opening day dessert special, and the waiter seemed to mutter “yes” before walking off for good. I can understand that they might have be figuring things out still since it was their first day, but the service was unacceptable. The owner seemed to even be present at a table where he welcomed friends, shook hands, and introduced his wife at the counter. I’m sure he was excited for their opening as well.
