Nice little spot with a nice selection of beer. I was lucky enough to happen upon this place on a pint night. Plenty of seating, indoors and outside. It's called a pub but there was no food service on site. So make sure you go thirsty and well fed. There are pizza places down the road and a place next door. May have to ask if I can grab a bite and bring it in next time. Overall, a really cool place to hang out and try some really unique beers.

Very much a pub type atmosphere! Bartender is always very friendly and it is a clean establishment. Very nice to have a wide selection of regional craft beers on tap. If you are looking for a place just to chill in a dark, pub like place… This is it! I’ve been there several times and probably will be back several times again.

Very relaxed place! The staff is always friendly and welcoming. I get in here every chance I get. The owner is way cool and Kevin (the dog) is the best part of our trip! Stop by when you have a chance and try the wings and poutine! #DuckFatFries are amazing!

I was there March 16th. With two fellow coworkers from over sea. The are eruopean. 10 females entered the establishment. I offered to buy them beers. If they inky say they where Baylor university. After buying the females beer. I was told. I was cut off for being to intoxicated. My euro friends told the statement. I was not intoxicated and he would pay for the rounds. We where then told we where not welcome and asked to leave . I am a very easy going person. So at that point I had to ask my commands to leave. The translations takes a min. Because they do not speak English. I tried to explain to rude owners or managers than it takes a min. To translate but we're heading towards the door . When a rude. Owner or manager grabbed my arm to escort me . I snatched my arm away and instructed him to. Do not ever touch my person. This is and assault. On my body and self imagine in public. I did inform him if he needs to call the local authorities. I'm ok with that. But DO NOT EVER TOUCH ME. Then several people gather around and grabbed me ..

I will be asking owners of this establishment to re view the videos of March 16th 2024. If they do not feel I or my comrades was miss treaded. I will file a civil lawsuit against persons involvle and the manager as well as anyone who Owns the property . Or investors.. if you don't like foreign people in your establishment. Post it on your outside .. I am a full blooded. 100% American. My family came here in 1700. If you don't like foreign people. Check you record. Where is the people that own this place from. Give me a apology written here. And buy half waht I spent in your place and I won't sue you. You have 7 business...

DBP serves primaily members of the Baylor community who love craft beer and a venue to unwind with friends and colleagues.

It's not the same place I used to frequent years ago, however. I dropped it down a couple of stars. Some of the bartenders need to work on their people skills. With the exception of a few regulars who sit at the very tiny bar (seats 4 or 5 people, seriously), the rest of us don't really feel particularly welcome ("dear bartender, pardon me for asking you to do your job by stopping the conversation with your buddy at the bar and serving me a beer, thank you").

It's extremely loud when busy, so loud it's virtually impossible to have a conversation. Go early or risk blowing out your eardrums with people shouting just trying to talk over one another.

Finally almost all of the beers on tap are can be found at other places in town (e.g., even a place like Old Chicago has a lot of overlap because they get their beer from same distributor, just to name one). Further, there are several options downtown with friendlier service and better happy hour pricing (Barnett's, Waco Ale Co., Southern Roots Brewery, Cricket's, etc), so I usually go to these...

I come here weekly. They cycle through breweries every Thursday and you can keep the cup from the brewery if you show up at 6 on Thursdays. They have a trivia night on Tuesdays that's insanely difficult, definitely meant for the grad student crowd. There's always a food truck in the back patio serving food. The food truck closes around 8 most days. They'll bring the food into the bar to you if you want to sit inside. The interior is cozy and the staff are excited about beer and will offer up recommendations when asked. This pub got me interested in quality beer. 5/5 for turning me into a...
