The best part of this experience was the pictures I took & The person I was with 💘. There's almost no where to park, the property wasn't very well kept. The bears must have been inside the enclosure because the only thing I seen on the entire platform was some chick with her laptop , and squirrels running around their habitat...where were the bears ?! But despite not even getting a glimpse of the bears I was excited to see, I still decided to get a souvenir coin on the way out, and low and behold after I decided on the coin, without the bear, and go for the names... I got NO coin . Upon further inspection, I have realized that nobody has gotten a coin , in a long time, because we can clearly see that nobody maintains...
Read moreAs a 1976 grad this is only the second time I’ve seen the new Bill and Eva Williams Baylor Bear Habitat on campus and it’s impressive! (Eva and I were club sisters in Kappa Theta.) Judge Joy had sadly passed away this past year and Judge Lady was napping the whole time we visited (normal for a hibernating black bear in midwinter!). But many families and visitors circled the Habitat, enjoying the educational signage, tributes and brick walk of honor on a pleasant December afternoon. So proud of Baylor University for keeping this open — the only certified habitat on a college campus...

They had just been fed their breakfast and the zoo keepers put peanut butter on the windows so the Bears would lick the peanut butter and get really, really close so you could see them!
