When we arrived, the woman taking our order was extremely rude, huffing and puffing multiple times — and this was just for an order for two people, nothing complicated. I was abruptly told “Wait!” several times, even though I was leaving what I felt was a reasonable pause between items to allow her to input them. I understand that some systems can be slow and require patience, but the attitude was completely unnecessary.
When we got to the window, I was handed a Blizzard from below the counter that was already melted and overflowing the cup. The clerk, Karen, actually laughed as she handed it to me along with a wad of napkins. I was too shocked to even respond. Next came a cone, also melting, which she accidentally dropped down the side of my truck. (Not concerned about the dropped cone, accidents happen)
While waiting for fresh ice cream and the rest of our food, I noticed several Blizzards and cones being shoved into a mini fridge under the counter, clearly pre-made for upcoming orders. I understand that drive-thru employees are timed and pressured to move orders quickly, but there has to be a balance! Read moreThe girl working the drive through delivered quite possibly the rudest service I have ever had. While taking my order she spoke very rude to me and placed me on hold. I ordered 3 items and she asked if I had anything else and signed when I kept ordering. Sorry I was ordering for 5 people. When I finally placed my total order she said pull around and as I started to pull up she yells back on the speaker oh yeah and we don't have cup holders. By this time I was irritated with her attitude and decided just leave because I didn't want to spend my money there. As I was about to back up another car was pulling in behind me. This is the only reason why I spent my money there. When I got to the window Ms. Personality crabbed my card from my hand and then started shoving my sacks out the window at me. When I got my card back there was a worker going back in from handing the car in front of me some items they were waiting on and I stopped him and told him he should tell the girl at the window she doesn't have to be so kind and that I wouldn't be back. Read moreThe girl at the drive thru is extremely rude. I don't expect anyone to gush or go out of their way to be overly friendly or polite. However, this girl was very rude from the beginning. My 13-year old son commented on the fact that she was very intimidating after we made our order and were driving to the window. I was smiling and being pleasant and saying "please" and "thank you" to everything but she made it her goal to stand there and glare at me for no reason. It was definitely her intention to be rude and intimidating.
Apparently, a few other people have had similar experiences with this girl over the past several months and nothing was done about it. I suppose I'm glad that she's not preparing the food...at least hopefully not. There are too many other restaurants just right down the road where you don't have to deal with...
