Update: It's been 2 years, and still no apologies or help. Management seems NOT to CARE, because they have yet to respond to my post yet. 25 months ago I posted this review down here. And no response.
THIS LOCATION NEEDS WORK!!!
I had to clean, what I thought was clean, my table and the booth seats. Crumbs and paper towels here and there. Would have been nice to see the woman Manager (the chubby white lady) clean, or do something instead of standing around and waiting for her employees to do it. The napkins dispensers were all dusty and dirty. So were the metal rods that hold the numbers. Not sure THIS McAlister's was in a rush to open 100% and cleaned nothing or what.
But I will stick to the McAlister's on Baylor and Waco Dr.. Even the BAYLOR McAlister's location is super clean. And that says A LOT, because they have all the messy college kids.
This one needs work. ESPECIALLY being the McAlister's on the "rich side" (Hewitt Drive). And NO... They were not packed, even as I left, it was pretty empty. Saw no one wiping down tables or sweeping. Picture frames were dusty and dirty too. I didn't bother checking the restrooms. That same woman manager was just standing around everywhere.
And the Caesar salad was horrible! They bascially took the components of a REGULAR salad and threw Caesar dressing on it. A Caesar salad needs to be all "leafy" green... It was the WHITEST Caesar salad I ever had. Sad.
P.s. The African American Manager was the only one working... I don't know why he was the only one working like that.

Read moreWent there 2 weeks ago and ordered 2 salads. One came out exactly as ordered. The other, a caesar salad, had no dressing on it. I immediately asked for the dressing before she left the table. During the 5 minute wait for the dressing I noticed that it had ice berg lettuce on it. She comes back with the dressing and I inform her that the lettuce is incorrect and could they make it with Romaine lettuce. Another 10 minutes go by and she comes back to inform me that they are out of Romaine until Friday. I said ok make it on the mix that is used on the savannah salad. Another 10 minutes go by and I go find her and request that they cancel the order and refund me. Another 10 minutes go by and the manager walks by and I stop him in mid step. I ask did someone tell you about providing a refund? I said nothing else. Not a single word was spoken by him and he put the money on the table. No apology, no fact finding on what happened just a throw and go. Only 5 tables are seated in the entire restaurant. If you don't have something on the menu tell the cashier, put a sign up or inform the customers if they already ordered it. That's the manager's job. Don't get mad at me when I gave you every opportunity to make it right and you didn't. I think the guys name was Alan or Adam. Young guy tall dark hair...

The last 3 time have been enough for me not to come back, I can tell there is new management from times before, I was there tonight 11/10 at 6:30 PM with my wife,we had the pick 2, both had the broccoli and cheese soup. It was very Luke warm which concerns me if it ever was up to temp or sitting there all day cool warm,we receive our food but no silverware, we ask the girl for some and 10 minutes later I had to walk up and get it ,so from our table to the kitchen she forgot about us ,,ridiculous...the time before all the tables were dirty, only to see as we are sitting eating they were cleaning off the dishes but not wiping the tables down,we watched it happen 4 times ,,,disgusting!!
