The JH Kultgen location is by far the worst Starbucks franchise in the city of Waco. I encourage you to read the unfavorable reviews and you will find that this location is consistent in their poor service and awful attitudes. I placed an order for my regular drink and before leaving the parking lot I took a sip and found it to be awful which can happen with any type of food and beverage orders so it was not that big of a deal. I requested a refund instead of a remake because I could tell by the lack of service that the 2nd drink would be subpar as well. The team lead Brittani took over the drive thru conversation when I requested a refund and said I guess you can pull around? Now why would one have to guess....how else would anyone get to the window to complete the process. She said I can keep the drink or return it....I said why would I want to keep something that I shared was not good. I proceeded to hand the drink to the drive thru person and Brittany went out of her way to hard snatch it and made a bee line to the back. I asked for a manager and the associate shared that the managers do not work on the weekends. I received all the needed information from Mattie who was truly pleasant. I cannot image someone getting ticked off because they sold you a bad product. I give this location a zero out of 10 stars, although Mattie was pleasant....the overall climate at this location is very poor. Thank goodness for the new coffee places on the scene so such as Dutch Bros. I rather spend my...
Read moreJune 20, 2022, roughly 7 a.m. (30 minutes prior to my arrival) I placed a simple online order (a box of travelers coffee to go), waited 10 more minutes behind ONLY 3 cars in drive through before finally my turn at the pick-up window. The barista asked to see my app because she said they couldn't find my order.. and when I showed her she simply chuckled and told another employee "Oh, its the traveler coffee". I was asked to pull up and wait 10-15 more minutes. I explained that I was in a hurry and asked why placing an online order 30 minutes in advance wasn't enough time to prepare my order, she gave me a long line of excuses. This Starbuck's location clearly doesn't value their customer's time and I wouldn't recommend buying here unless you have an extra hour to kill. Unfortunatly, I don't. So probably won't be shopping here again because of the poor service and dishonesty of the baristas... I'm a reasonable guy but not ignorant of what a streamlined business model looks like when executed. After losing 45 minutes of my morning, I would have been much happier had they been honest and simply told me the truth that they made a mistake and overlooked my order.. I had them refund my prepaid purchase and...
Read moreWhile a fan of the brand, this particular location is worth skipping. Bad service and disorderly.
This location is either understaffed , or there is some major issues with service training. I have to admit the coffee it self was great, hot and rich. But that’s about the end of the positive.
Disorderly and messy counters and guest area.
Bad manners/ customer service: I specifically felt mistreated by the two baristas : Haley and Graham, I got drip coffee and asked for half and half, since the one at condiment bar was empty (brought the carafe over for them). Repeated my request at least twice and they both ignored me even though I stood there for several minutes holding the empty container.
I had to come around and ask the cashier who was in the back room to get me a new carafe for me. He reached under the counter and got me one that was ready. Took him no more then 10 seconds.
Product and branding bring the customer, good service keeps customer coming back. Missed the mark guys.
I’d skip this store and stop at one down the road - hard to get to from the...
