My family visiting from Texas came to watch my son's youth baseball game in Wadena and suggested getting DQ afterwards. We checked the Google hours (says 9:30, we arrived at 8:20ish) and decided to visit the Wadena store rather than drive to Perham. While ordering the cashier kept stating that they were closing at 8:30 to my father repeatedly. She also told other guests that we're asking about the status of their food order that they were closing. Our ice cream and minimal food order came out and, as we were finishing up at 8:45, the same cashier had the audacity to walk back and confront our party about why we were still there and that she had told us we were closing 15 minutes before. My father told her that we were paying customers and how horrible of service she was providing. She was verbally combative and didn't seem to understand how the service industry works. My father asked to see a manager and as the employee walked away she continued to run her mouth and be snippy. The supervisor came out and spoke with my dad, but didnt seem overly concerned with the employees outrageously unprofessional bahvior, but at least listened. As most of us all started the walk toward the door, she actually continued to bicker with us about why we couldn't go eat outside. I advised her to stop talking and walked out the door. I have never had such a poor customer experience at any restaurant, locally or abroad, ever. We chalked it up to the employee being very young, but seriously, I will never come back to the establishment and will recommend others to do the same. I hope that this situation is reviewed and addressed. If you want to close the lobby at 8:30, fine, but never allow employees to approach paying customers in the way this young lady did tonight for such a minor inconvenience. It's summer, 90 degrees out, and baseball season. You should be happy to be busy and always respectful to...
Read morePoor customer service. I wasn't informed that each dip costed .75, I asked the lady after I purchased my meal if I could have another honey mustard sauce as my son wAnted one and she said, that will be .75-even after buying 3 meals from them. I told her okay, I added that it would likely cost them the same amount to run my card again though. While I was annoyed that I could just grab a sauce and go, that had to re-ring me up for a sauce, a sign for it too. The other lady chimed in, " she is just doing her job".
Well, if charging me an additional .75 and not thinking about what you are actually profiting from it while giving me a sass remark and Creatinf an unhappy customer is worth it, I just won't return to this DQ. I live by a DQ, and I've never ever been charged for a simple honey mustard sauce and I would be inconvenienced by re-ringing me up and signing for a sauce. Clearly that didn't make sense and getting a rude remark will cost more than a sauce now. This DQ won't be a pit stop for us anymore-too much attitude and no...
Read moreSince they renovated I'm not joking when I say this is the best DQ I've ever been to. I don't know what you guys are doing but please keep it up. The burgers are well crafted not sloppy, the ingredients are fresh, mobile orders are filled fast. Never feel bad after eating it. Little things like if you order a two piece chicken strip and one chicken strip is tiny they give you an extra so you're getting what you paid for. Staff are friendly and apologetic if they miss an item, they replace it without a hassle. Great experience. Never once regretted ordering....
