Asia Express Hibachi & Wings — Restaurant in Wake Forest

Truly great food and service! I’m puzzled by the overly critical reviews or qualifiers, like for the price on an otherwise great review. My wife and I ordered the Hibachi chicken, and I thought it was pretty common knowledge that the base is soy sauce. For both our tastes, it was just right not too salty but not too bland either. Portions were generous, we ordered online and everything was exactly right, fresh vegetables. The menu is very dynamic and we are looking forward to trying other things, like the Korean fried chicken and orange chicken. My wife ordered the potstickers and spring rolls, which she enjoyed thoroughly. I also ordered extra vegetables and they put them in a separate bowl to show they were in fact extra! Just good food and service all the way around!!

Update: We keep going here and they keep knocking it out of the park! Tried the fried chicken strips tossed in General Tso’s. Very good, all white meat strips. Wow, this place really does have a good selection and...

Hands down my favorite Asian takeout place in the area. I’ve been a regular here since I discovered them in January 2020 and have continued to order from here about every other week as their food is seriously top notch, especially their hibachi entrees (I’d say their quality is comparable to those teppanyaki hibachi restaurants). I LOVE the fresh ingredients they use and the fact that all the vegetables juicy and amazing. I’d recommend calling in ahead of time for a pickup order but I do notice that if I order around 6-7, the wait is typically longer (I guess that’s when everyone else in the area is calling in for dinner too...) but I’ve begun to call earlier to hopefully get my food before the rush. I understand why people are upset over the wait times as time is truly valuable but majority of the times I’ve ordered, my food has arrived on time. Overall, I seriously think it’s worth the wait and you can’t go wrong...

Ordered a doordash and half an hour of waiting for them to confirm it I called and the lady kindly told me she confirmed it herself and was just waiting on a dasher to come pick it up. After the phone call I had called back to add something else to the order, paid the extra amount over the phone and she said everything was ready and waiting for a dasher. 30 minutes go by and I get a notification that the order was canceled so I call and was given a sad excuse as to doordash canceled the order and not the store and she didn’t know how it happened. I then asked if I was receiving my order or not and by this time it was an hour in waiting, and the store closed in 10 minutes. The lady told me I could drive to pick up the order, which was fine, but once we got there was extremely rude and uninviting. Will not give service...
