China Wok — Restaurant in Wake Forest

Hands down the absolute worst Chinese food I’ve ever eaten. The girl at the counter was beyond rude, apparently I was interfering with her phone time. She got my order wrong and then the food……UGHHHH the food was just the worst. The cashew chicken had beyond stale cashews and it tasted syrupy sweet, I’ve never had cashew chicken like that. The crab rangoons were also either premade or frozen. I SAW her pull them out of a cooler….and to top it off it was super expensive. Panda Express would have been better. I ended up having to literally throw all the food in the trash, I didn’t trust that it was safe to eat…..never again!! And if I were you….whoever’s reading this…1000%...

So this was my husband an I first time here we order the meal they put the rice an very small container we only order fried chicken wings an fried all three orders an the egg roll was very very tiny an they over charge my card 49 dollars an a card fee when u are using an credit card or debit u spend an certain amount to be not charge not along the chicken was not the whole chicken wing I will never go there again then they refuse to give ur money back as well so if ur food is not right or u want an refund they will not give please go to any other location other than this one an they cheat out of ur chicken wings well u only get six when it’s 8 when it’s cut...

I took my grandma out to lunch here, she typically moans and groans no matter what, but she loved how hot the wonton soup was. It was pleasent see the kids run around too, as they were happy and cheerful. As for my dish, the chicken under the batter looked like something you wouldnt use for fish bait. It was all brown and gut colored. I ate one before hand, noticed that it was an odd grizzle like texture, cut the next one in half and noticed they were all like that. I've felt sick all day, but then again, I don't eat Chinese food often. I ended up throwing the rest of the meal in the bushes outside for the crows in the plaza to eat, as they're use to...
