Loca Luna Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Wake Village

This place was exemplary from the moment we walked in until the moment we left. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. Truly dislike having passed it by for more than 4 years. My sister kept recommending it and she was right. My husband and I went there to celebrate our 1st yr “dating” anniversary. This was by far the BEST dining experience for us in a long time. Our waiter, the young Mr Kaiden was by far the best server we’ve encountered in over 3 years…Our drinks, appetizers and entrees were promptly bought to us —- NO extensive waiting, NO cold food, NO watered down margaritas here!! When I say “YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS PLACE” you definitely need to try this place…The sampler platter was actually sufficient enough for the both of us. We did purchase a taco/enchilada combo dinner and chimichanga meal.

Went there for my 53rd birthday. The food, service and drinks were great. Norma, our waitress was terrific. She truly made our day. Loved her cheery personality. She had the staff sing happy birthday to me and was so attentive even though it was extremely busy. As usual—No complaints—

7th visit: Never had a bad experience here until today. Went there to celebrate Father’s Day w/ my husband and oldest son. We were greeted(if that’s what you want to call it) by our waiter Ricardo who asked for ID to which we had no problem w/ although we are all definitely past the legal drinking age. Stayed to see if he carded others, which he did NOT!!! Did not eat there bc our waiter Ricardo was so rude and inattentive. He took our drink order, promptly bought out our drinks and then disappeared so long that we thought he’d gotten off work. We found that to be quite odd considering we were one of maybe 4 customers in the entire restaraunt at the time. When he reappeared, he offered no apology or explanation for his extended absence. His attitude was so discourteous that halfway through the order I decided to forgo eating there. Not for sure what his deal was but next time we will request another...

I had never found the drive-through open at the times I was in Texarkana, but when I saw a long line there, I tried it. Since I had not ordered ahead, I had to go through the line once to order then again to pick up the order, but the wait time was not as long as I was afraid it might be considering how long the line was, and the parking lot was full, so these folks were busy as could be. The people at the window were very nice and friendly. I asked for two orders of red beef enchiladas. They were well-sealed so nothing was going to leak out. When I unloaded them at home, there were two bags of real tortilla chips, two large containers of freshly made salsa, and the enchiladas/beans/rice were generous portions. We are big eaters, and frankly, take-out dinners usually seem a little skimpy, but these dinners were generous, and although we ate every bit, we weren't still scrounging for a little something more, and these dinners were delicious. We have a couple favorite places in Texarkana for good food, but I have to say this was just superb. The enchiladas were cooked perfectly, the beans creamy, and the rice had none of the bitterness that you often get. And the salsa was so fresh and flavorful, has got to be the best I've had. They also tucked a menu in with the order. Five stars...

We were greeted and seated immediately upon entering the restaurant. Our chips and salsa were delivered as soon as we sat down at our table. Our server took our drink orders, served us quickly, finished with another table of guests and returned to take our food orders. The food was also served quickly and it was hot off the fire. The orders were exactly as ordered. Our chips and salsa were refilled during our meal as was our drinks. Our server was very attentive even though she was busy with other guests. I hope the chef saw our empty plates when they were returned and knows that we ate it all, because everything was delicious. Between the three of us, I think we had a bit of everything on the menu! Our night out was a great success because we chose to eat...
